The precedent of Trump getting money for his wall is set. Congress will have to appropriate money every year for the next 6 years.
The concessions I don’t think are worth it. Is being able to stand in front of a 55mi joke worth the 2020 photo op? If anything I think signing this turd sandwich weakens his hand at a national emergency. SCOTUS will likely tell him just to go back to Congress like he did the first time.

You’re right. $25 billion, at least, is needed. The $5.7 billion figure was the compromise. Now the Dims whittle it down to $1.37 billion, with who knows how many qualifiers written into the details.
Trump needs to tell them to take a hike and proceed with building under statutory authority for the military to build border barriers for national security or under the authority of a declared national emergency. Then spend the total amount necessary to get the job done.
Fewer beds means more get released into our country quicker... then they can vote.
