Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, aka “Occasional Cortex“, revealed an energy and social justice plan today called “The Green New Deal“, promising a massive transformation of American society. However, the substance (full pdf below) is so ridiculous, there are many people now wondering if she and her allies were set-up by political opponents to make themselves look like fools.
The goal is to have all Americans eating sustainable algae cakes and sitting around campfires, barefoot, picking parasites off each other…. or something.

I recently attended a speech contest involving high school students at the top in their respective schools. I realize it is normal for youngsters to be idyllic but the subject of these speeches dealt with subject matter which could have filled an HG Wells novel looking into a socialist future: diversity is a great thing; solar/renewable energy will save the world were two examples. This mantra was espoused in every one of the presentations one of which was commentary on Trump's vision carefully crafted to appear not political. This is what is being pushed in schools, this is what is coming out. GIGO, garbage in is garbage out. Yes be very afraid. Talk to youngsters today. For example, note how food stamps for instance is now interwoven into the fabric of families. When I was a kid, being "on relief" was an embarrassment, today it is looked at as a benefit. The government and the education apparatus are running most everyone's lives. One thing in common, they each cost more every year and accomplish less.
