Vanessa Tyson could spell doom for Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax

Vanessa Tyson, the woman accusing Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault, is a political — and perhaps legal — wrecking ball for the Democratic rising star who until this week was positioned to take over as governor.

Fairfax risks not only his political career but also criminal charges, with Tyson alleging an assault at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, where a 15-year statute of limitations allows five more months for Tyson to pursue the case.

Whether it was forced or consensual, only the Good Lord knows. One thing is certain, oral sex DID take place. They both say so.
After that it comes down to credibility. Since they are both Democrats, I am going to play the devil's advocate and quite Senator Hirono during the Kavanaugh hearings:

Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told men to “shut up and step up” when it comes to Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual assault accusation. Asked whether her being one of four women on the Senate Judiciary Committee impacts the Kavanaugh confirmation proceedings, Senator Hirono says, “I just want to say to the men of this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change.”

“Not only do women like Dr. Ford, who bravely comes forward, need to be heard, but they need to be believed. They need to be believed,” Hirono said. “We cannot continue the victimization and the smearing of someone like Dr. Ford.”

Just replace Dr Ford with Dr Tyson. Let's give.the Democrats a taste of their own medicine shall we?

Senator Warner ignored the allegations.

We aren’t affected much in San Diego with illegals, because of the fencing and walls along the border here. There are not too many successful breaches of the border here.

There is a facility here to process asylum seekers, but they are being processed very slowly, so we aren’t seeing mass numbers of refugees entering this area at this time.

It should be “after that, it comes down to the lack of physical evidence”, and the accusation should be dismissed. Lack of credibility of the accusation is established to the required degree by the lack of evidence.

Any other standard is an extortionist’s paradise. No other standard can work, which is why this kind of evidence-free accusation is so insidious in the way it makes its emotional appeal.
