Pelosi Statement on State of the Union Address
February 6, 2019
Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after President Trump delivered his State of the Union Address:
“Tonight, the President spoke about the honor of being in the House Chamber, and all the progress that has been achieved here. But at the same time, he threatened the United States Congress not to exercise its constitutional responsibility of oversight.
“It will take days to fact-check all the misrepresentations that the President made tonight. Instead of fear-mongering and manufacturing a crisis at the border, President Trump should commit to signing the bipartisan conference committee’s bill to keep government open and provide strong, smart border security solutions.
“Sadly, while talking about perceived threats to the safety of the American people, he completely ignored the gun violence epidemic that is claiming lives across the country.
“The President’s call for ending HIV transmission in America is interesting, but if he is serious about ending the HIV/AIDS crisis, he must end his assault on health care and the dignity of the LGBTQ community.
“With the complicity of the GOP Congress over the last two years, President Trump failed the middle class by trying to take away Americans’ health care and enriching the wealthiest 1 percent. The state of the American middle class has been weakened by President Trump’s special interest first agenda.
“The President said that he wanted to work to lower prescription drug prices and build America’s infrastructure. Thus far, the President has not put forward any real proposals. Now, with a new House Democratic Majority working For The People, the President has an opportunity to join us to deliver real progress in lowering the price of prescription drugs and making the bold investments needed to rebuild America’s infrastructure in a green and modern way.
“President Trump must now take concrete steps to work with Democrats to strengthen the health and economic security of families across America. After two years of the President’s empty words, the American people deserve real results.”

Umm, you mean like the unprecedented rise in the stock market? Or the jobs creation? Or the decrease in unemployment? Or the fact that North Korea is being tamed? Or that China is being taken to task?

I posted on a couple of threads here a week or so ago that DJT should NOT give out copies of his speech until AFTER the SOTU. ....The opponent Dems and media would have gone totally nuts if they didn’t have time in advance to prepare their rebuttal comments.
I think you’ve nailed it with Nanzi’s tardive dyskenesia, why she keeps constantly twitching, blinking, blank staring, stuttering and chewing her cud!!
Tardive dyskinesia is a common side effect of strong antipsychotic and other neurological drugs. The question is, for which mental/neurological disorder is she taking meds—chronic anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, seizures? Is she taking Hadol, Risperdol, Seraquil, Xanax, Thorazine? Inquiring minds want to know.
Whatever her disease and drugs, physically and cognitively she’s a mess. I’m surprised she doesn’t need to wear a drool bib in public.
The usual drugs used by geriatricians for alcoholic dementia— (ie. the vascular dementia generated form vascular disease/mini-strokes and/or hemorrhagic stroke in the brain meninges or microvasculature). That is— there is a depressogenic aspect to alcoholism (sober and depressed— answer: more booze, middle of the day, self medicating) that drugs used to treat bipolar disorder are sometimes effective in “leveling” the mood. These being, as you say, anti-psychotics or neuroleptics. Would guess Zyprexa (anti-schizoprenic) Olanzanine.
Nancy’s drinking is certainly evident in combination with whatever other drug cocktail she takes. Alcoholic heart failure leading to vascular strokes are also a possibility.
Have you noticed lately that the left side of her face and mouth definitely sag? The left side of her lower lip looks literally like Popeye the Sailor Man’s. Stroke? Unbalanced Botox injections?
You’re probably right about her self-medicating with alcohol, she probably has a full bar of hard liquor in her office. Between too much Botox, age, dementia, alcoholism, and antipsychotic drugs, she’s (literally) a wrinkly slobbering mess with constant tardive dyskinesia tics.

How bout this........ Wiki says that botulinum toxin may be injected to reduce symptoms. We can surmise or deduce that absent her botax facials, Pelosi would be in one hell of a shape.
