Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams prepared the Democrats' response to President Trump's State of the Union address. Going into it, none of us really knew what to expect but honestly, the bar wasn't set too high. Abrams never conceded to Brian Kemp and she's continually pushed the idea that "voter suppression" (not the people's voice) is what kept her from winning her bid for governor of Georgia.
Although the Democrats might not have known exactly what President Trump was going to address on Tuesday night, whoever wrote her speech cast a really, really wide net. She mentioned issues Trump didn't even touch on, like gun control and climate change. Not only that, but the response was focused on Abrams personal story. And while she tried to use her own anecdotal experiences to deliver a message, it came off as selfish and rather narcissistic.

I just want to know why she was chroma keyed over the background audience. I have pics but can’t remember what service to use to link them here.
Someone mentioned last night that she was “green screened” with a faux crowd behind her. Was the studio no big enough for her and a dozen other folks?

I watched enough of it to confirm it was totally a PR opportunity for her. Consolation prize for losing in GA, as she is the Democrat dream candidate ( again). Black, female, articulate, “compelling narrative”, etc. All boxes checked.
Speech content? Not important. Just image.

Arguing that voter suppression is what caused you to lose is the same as saying "I would have won if people had voted for me". Uh, yeah but they didn't. Too bad, learn to code maybe.

I dunno; that was so strange - and I’m glad others caught it. Do you know of a good service where I can upload and link photos to here? I took some good ones of that. The Dems go out of their way to be even more phoney.
If this pig is the best the dems have to offer; they have hit rock bottom.
I use https://postimg.cc/ . It’s lean and without the bells and whistles many hosting sites have but it has one feature I really like. When you upload it gives you the opportunity to choose a size of file you want it to be such as for email, forums, or others so it resizes the files automagically for you so you don’t bog down forums like this with overly large files and you don’t have to resize them individually. There are many hosting sites; this one is just my fave.
What I found really bizarre was when she talked about her father. Both parents worked but they only had one car. So at times her father would walk or hitch hike back and forth to work. One rainy, cold evening her father was late so they all piled in the car to look for him (why didn’t they pick him up if the car was available). They found him cold and wet walking along the road. He didn’t have his jacket because he had given it to a homeless man.
Ummm...OK, could happen I guess. But I don’t anyone that routinely walks to and from a job that’s 30 MILES away!
And the Republicans had not yet passed Civil Rights legislation.
