Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax issued a forceful pre-dawn denial on Monday to an allegation of sexual assault that surfaced after 15 years, in the latest political bombshell to rock Richmond where Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam is battling resignation calls over a racist photo from his medical school yearbook.
Fairfax, who would be next in line for governor should Northam bow to pressure and resign, called the allegation “defamatory” and “false.”
“Lt. Governor Fairfax has an outstanding and well-earned reputation for treating people with dignity and respect,” the statement from his office read. “He has never assaulted anyone—ever—in any way, shape, or form.”

He was given the virginia Governor’s slot as a springboard to the Presidency. The fact he has not yet announced is because Hillary has not yet absolutely declined to run in 2020

I thought that also BUT I also figured McA would have been a shoo-in for VEEP so he could just ‘step in’ after 4 or 8 of HRC.
My ‘conspiratorial’ mind kicked in when Kaine was selected, I figured McA and Co saw a possible loss in HRC and didn’t want to tie themselves to HER wagon???

Somebody’s made a calculation that they could get a Black Dem governor in on the sly then have him run 4 more years and probably win then as well. Somebody else ran with the LT Governor is a racist story to block the first from happening and set up a real quagmire in Virginia politics. If both have to resign...who takes over as governor. Northam now has the perfect excuse not to resign...”Maybe I did a stupid racist thing 35 years ago but it isn’t as bad as being a rapist...I had best just stay on as governor!”
In ‘fairness’, my original thought of Kaine over McA was McA had fallen out of favor and they didn’t have time to go searching etc.
BUT atter PDJT ‘upset’ her, I conjured up the thought of McA being skeptical of her chances of winning ESPECIALLY when he started running his mouth again.
I was thinking how bad Fairfax may be towards the Conservatives but feel Herring is worse as his first act as AG under McA was to deny reciprocity to several states and they IMMEDIATELY acted against us and we had to wait a few months for the actions of Herring were overturned by the Assembly.
Thankfully we still have a VERY SLIM Majority and hopefully all this BS will get us some breathing room as these Libs are being exposed (I would say by their OWN).
OTOH, Herring may have more ‘power’ in some of these things as AG and do the LIBs want to take a chance of a Conservative AG..
My ‘wish’ is Northam be kept there as a reminder etc...

Virginia is lost. Swamp creatures invaded.
What ought to be done is expand Washington DC to include the Swamp suburban area and remove it from Virginia.
DC needs to be expanded. Take away all the Swampland around DC there in VA, where all the Swamp Creature invaders live, and add it to DC.
Then actual Virginians can control their state again.
Playing nice and losing elections.
With years of experience behind me and I think other women will agree, women and trust do not necessarily go hand in hand. In fact, I have known women who will cut your throat and not blink, both personally and in business. This sisterhood thing is a joke.
The better question is where is Feinstein?
