Didn't watch much football this year but glad that Trump supporting Tom Brady and Bill Belichick got their 9th Super Bowl together and their 6th Super Bowl victory.
Trump tweet incoming for sure.
GOAT post 1977.. I don’t think Brady could have played before that because of the rules.. DB could play bump and run until ball was in air, offensive lineman couldn’t use their hands like they can today.. If you look at QB of the 70’s, Bradshaw, Stabler, Griese, Sipe, Staubach, Tarkenton,Anderson, vince Evans they all could scramble and move.. Brady is statue.. Look Joe Namath, he still had and arm in 1976 but had to retire because he was a statue because of his bad knees.
Not to mention how QB were not protected back then. Just google Turkey Jones and Terry Bradshaw to see...
Go Patriots!

Give it a rest already. Everyone is sick of this shit. We get it. You dont like the NFL. STFU.
They havent been out of the game long enough. Give it ten years.
Edelman, Gronkowski, Vinateri, Brady, Amendola, Welker, Ty Law.
Those are the ones off the top of my head.
Thank you!
I’m ticked I cannot find the total-stats-oriented personal website of some nut about football. He analyzed tons of QBs (up until that time, maybe c2005) and he came out as Johnny U on top. Tried to account for all kinds of nuances in changes. Oh, he allowed comments, too - and had tons of them hating him and loving him. Damn, I wish I could find it. No longer in my bookmarks, and can’t “google” it yet.
Hatriots.
As long as scumbag bastard sire whiny Brady and stoneface Belicheat are in charge, I’m pretty much the same way.
How about Shady and Belicheat? Funny stuff...What's the matter, someone didn't sign your jersey? Lose a bet and sucked the football?
... or the refs!
Brings out the best in us, right?

Brady wasn’t toying with them at all, IMHO.
Brady earned this one. It wasn’t pretty but he got the job done when it mattered.
I wasn’t previously a fan but he’s earned my respect as the greatest who’s ever played the game to date. His stats bear that out.
As good as Brady was at the end, this was nearly all Belichick. Holding an elite modern offense to 3 points, and really only 4 significant drives including the final ‘prevent’ is truly impressive.
I was thinking if Jack Lambert was playing, Brady would have been sacked a number of times.
Okay, I admit, Lambert was one of my fav players from that era and I wish there were more like him.
I think he has to win one more SB to have an indisputable claim.
Belacheck the coach. He was using ventriloquism when he was talking into the mike? Looked it to me. His lips never moved but he was using the mike. Didn’t have to cover his face to talk
Mean, ain’t I?
Seriously, that’s a great team. It’s not just Brady.
I think it was a very well played game, but when they are dominated by defense as in this case they are not exciting to watch.
Maybe not to those looking for stats, and big plays - but by and large this wasn’t a sloppy or inept game. The intricacies of defense can be fascinating, as is watching O-Line play. This is much easier to see now when we can rewind the plays on our own.
