the McClatchy statement is a magnificent example of corporate double-speak and obfuscation that should be taught in business schools.
here’s my pithy translation of their lengthy screed:
“Our revenue is significantly down because we are in a failing business with fewer and fewer paying customers each and every day, so we were forced to layoff a bunch of employees to try to stave off bankruptcy just a little bit longer.”

probably more ... it’s pretty obvious that the lying leftist fake stream enemedia have already pulled in their horns and now attempt to appeal only to the very narrow slice of their hardcore leftist/progressive customers who are the only ones who willingly pay to lap up their worthless propaganda ...
That kind of sums it up. They don’t have the guts to say it in plain English. We are letting people go because we are failing.
So these Trump hating shysters were able to keep people on their payrolls because of Obama funding. I have a coffee cup which informs I drink coffee made with liberal tears.
