Lying is a “tactic.” Nothing wrong with that.
Pelosi’s dizzy with power, tottering on those ridiculously high heels of hers, and wielding that gavel like a demented tinpot dictator.
Like Napoleon returning from Elba, Pelosi expects the landscape to be identical or nearly so to the last time she saw it as leader.
The media has changed massively since 2011. One might even say they have disappeared.
So-called reporters float around and tweet about trifles...cable outlets are 24-hr bitchfests.
90% of the media are surplus since primary sources are available to the public without the need for ‘analysis’ by a hack in the swamp.
Pelosi expects her old mates to run interference for her but her old mates either have retired or have been drowned out by their peers - especially when they amplify the hideous Democrat groupthink.
Nobody is doing any favors for members of Congress UNLESS there are juicy leaks involved.
Pelosi is accustomed to being in the limelight by herself.
Like the Clintons, Pelosi is relying on 1990s tactics. She’s old(er), suffering from cognitive breakdown and confusion about a great many things.
She freely substitutes conjecture and wishful thinking for fact and history - there is a desperation evident in her tone now.

Hillary was good at this----she'd "leak" what she said was damaging info on Trump to the media.
Then when the smear was published---she'd wave around the clipping to show how she was the superior candidate.

Hope Trump’s people have archived this for the 2020 campaign.
Their power creates a self-deception. The powerful like Pelosi think that when you are on lofty political grounds or high up in a position of power, that you are immune to any attacks on your integrity. This is just the meaning of the phrase, “The emperor wears no clothes.” Now-a-days, as the value of a God-centered life has given way to humanism, the powerful are becoming like dictators who are willing to do anything to gratify their self-centered appetites.
