I think the problem started when cheereaders stopped dressing and acting like cheerleaders and started dressing and acting like hookers.
Half the country wants to be left alone.
The other half of the country wants to control everything you do and everything you say.
This won’t end well.
It is deeply immoral to try to control the lives of strangers just because you think you’re better than they are. But that’s the Left for ya!

As a father of 2 cheerleaders. The attire is scarce for sure. As a sports fan I watch the cheerleaders in between plays and the attire isn’t the reason.
It’s the revenge of the ugly and the unpopular.

Now they have a foothold, time to go after all venues with good looking women! Cheerleaders, beauty contests, cover of magazines, creating cuck boys that never become real men and thus don’t want women.

The same sort of thing happened to NHL hockey and the sport in general. The left insisted that helmets and (later) facial shields would make the game so much safer and better. There may have been those few unfortunate instances of head and eye injuries that might have made the idea of more protective equipment seem like a good one. But all of these years later, problems involving concussions, broken necks and backs, and other related injuries are at appalling rates and that the game of the past was that better and happier thing before the left helped to damage it.

Because the women are ogling the men on the field.
Some is, of course, God's gift but to raise that gift to cheerleader level requires hard work and lots of it.
It also requires talent and dedication to the activity.

This is understandable when you realize the feminism at its core is an anti fertility cult. Also the significance that men find it inherently gratifying to watch attractive, young women at their sexual prime dancing and gyrating and the fact that the women themselves compete avidly and voluntarily for the jobs is lost on those who object.
On average, men like “eye candy” and women don’t care. We can’t have anything that shows a difference between men and women so it must be shut down. They can’t stop men from looking, so they must stop women from choosing to be looked at.
Just a guess that this could be started from the fat people chorus too.
Because appreciating them is an expression of “toxic masculinity”.
I played football for years. Before high school, high school and a couple of years in college.
I never really understood the purpose of cheerleaders. They just ranted and jumped around. No one paid any attention to them. They lead nothing.
And now Cheerleading has taken the place of gymnastics in most high schools and college. Either do gymnastics or lead cheers.
