Pro-abortion Lawmakers in Vermont Hope to Follow in New York’s Steps

Despite the backlash against New York's new abortion law across the country, more blue states intend to adopt similar measures. Pro-abortion lawmakers in Vermont introduced a bill last week to allow abortion on demand up to birth and hope to eventually enshrine abortion rights with an amendment in the state's constitution.

More than 90 members of Vermont's House co-sponsored a bill that recognizes abortion as a fundamental right. If passed, the legislation would make it illegal for any state or local law enforcement to prosecute licensed professionals for performing abortion procedures regardless of the stage of pregnancy.

“The General Assembly intends this act to safeguard the right to abortion in Vermont by ensuring that right is not denied, restricted, or infringed by a governmental entity,” the bill says.

"Vermont ... has legalized abortion through all nine months of pregnancy without a single restriction or regulation on the practice of abortion — not even that a doctor perform the procedure; no limit on how late into pregnancy; and ... legalized physician-assisted suicide. And now it wants to enshrine death into the Vermont Constitution," she said.

"We refer to Planned Parenthood here as the fourth branch of government," added Beerworth, "and every year they simply deliver their wish list. They have so many clinics per capita here that they dominate the political scene."

Meanwhile, in Nashville TN, there is no abortion clinic, even PP has moved out.

Planned Parenthood can have Vermont if we can have Tennessee, where both the political and the natural climate are ever so much better. Draw up a map for the division of the country ASAP.

I am surprised. Is the Supreme Court going to sue to force the state to have them? Or are there simply hospitals that do it?

It is beyond my comprehension that even a single person would support a law that permits an expecting mother to decide, on the date of delivery, to instead murder her child. Yet there is a majority of “people” in some areas of the country that not only support such ghoulishness. But applaud it! We are seriously regressing as a species.

The problem with liberalism is, it can never stop demanding. That’s how they know they are morally superior liberals; they demand something. If they get what they want then they want more. It isn’t about whatever they are allegedly after. It’s about power, control and outrage. YOUR restrictions on what I want to do are an outrage. Therefore, I will get power and control and overcome YOUR restrictions. (Rinse and repeat.)

First, it was gay marriage. That went from totally unacceptable to a fact in 20 years. But it was never about gay marriage. It was about undoing every social restriction; sex with animals, sex with children, sex with your parents, legal abortion, legal suicide, “assisted” suicide...and when they get it they will come up with new demands.

The highest Democrat value is chopping up living babies in the womb.

And they are so proud.

Planned Parenthood is at the end of their viability. All the pro-aborts know that their time is short. They will not have the Supreme Court into the future because of Donald Trump. What we are witnessing in New York State is a last gasp of power.

The abortion industry has been plagued with lack of doctors - so Gov Cujo makes it the law of the state that other people can now do abortions, people who have minimal training in exactly how to extract a baby from the womb and will not know exactly how to save a women's life when they mess up. Are NY emergency rooms prepared for the onslaught of botched abortions that will come their way?

The one thing that Planned Parenthood fears is public disclosure of what it is they actually do. That is why they have been vociferous in their pouncing on David Daleiden, the guy who exposed their baby body parts selling racket.

I believe that something will happen in the near future that will open it all up. We will know the truth and it will set us free.

I think we should join them. Get a whole crowd of people showing up at the courthouse with signs saying “kill the babies, kill the babies!” Or any other evil sign we can come up with. Maybe a grim reaper.

So a Federal judge is going to strike this down and New York's abortion law down, right?

If red states so much as move a condom behind a locked case, some stupid judge will strike it down as unconstitutional.
