I get it. It is all tremendously frustrating. You don’t need to be quiet, but how about some viable suggestions for what the president should do in a government with 3 parts in which he only controls one. How does he keep his promise to build the wall when he doesn’t control appropriations? We are listening, Reno. Hello?
We do seem to be blessed with a bumper crop of them. I am going to stick with President Trump until the bitter end.
New Mexico went that way election day and are now pushing sanctuary state status, full gun control and all renewable energy. The far-left "progressives" have taken over all state government as of January 1.
That’s the problem. Many posting on this thread are so desperate for a scorched Earth approach, they aren’t looking past the optics of burning trees. The President can’t do it alone. He says he will declare a national emergency...then fight it out in the Courts. Where he still might lose. He is for a wall, but seems to be the only one in Washington who is.
Looks like Trump just set a February 15th deadline, then a state of emergency is declared.
That seems to be is final point. Is this real this time?

He’s floated it before - many times, but this was a definite end date. Come up with a solution or he’s going to take action to do it himself. His last line redeemed the speech for me, and now I agree with his actions. I also think it’s good because Queen Nancy now has NO reason to deny him the State of the Union, and he’ll be able to make his case directly to the American People.
What I’m hoping is that he takes the opportunity to go into other things that have nothing to do with the wall - like the corruption and sedition going on in our “justice” department, that many members of Congress seem unwilling to represent the will of the people they supposedly represent, and even wonder (if she’s not there) if Ruth Ginsburg is alive or not.
I guess that’s wishful thinking, though.

He is exactly the opposite.
What he needs from us is anger and action towards our enemies, not a lecture on what he already knows.
I suppose there is no other alternative, there is nobody else on the horizon that can even come close to Trump, and that's the saddest fact of all.
