The day after the end of the NFL season, when teams fire allegedly underperforming head coaches, is known as Black Monday. This year that nickname was a tad too on the nose. Of the seven NFL head coaches fired, five are black.

By the way, the Williams sisters are minority owners of the Dolphins.
“The SJWs would be perfectly fine with the NFL collapsing.”

White coaches need to take a knee in each game to get ahead of the flack.
Why do these coaches have such poor won-loss records? Is the game racist, too?
I’m more concerned with the lack of white Running Backs in the NFL.
The worst sports writer evah, Dave Zirin, strikes again.
Why is no one crying about the underrepresentation of midget female Vietnamese coaches with Tourette’s in the NFL?
Maybe it’s about winning.
Take the writing utensils away from Dave Zirin.
The guy is so blind about his own racism.
What? Are we supposed to fill coach positions based on a quota? So many black coaches per white?
He should apologize for those racist comments, and re-examine his own outlook on life.
Hue Jackson - TWO wins over nearly 3 seasons. You show me any white coach who could get away with that.
Marvin Lewis - He was there for 16 seasons and never won a playoff game. Are you telling me he got jobbed?
Todd Bowles - 3 losing seasons in a row. Not the worst job, particularly with the Jets’ lack of talent, but that would likely get most coaches fired.
Vance Joseph - Back-to-back losing seasons. Again, not the worst job, but that will get a lot of coaches fired.
Mike Tomlin - Still has his job despite having no clue how to manage the clock, when to challenge plays, when to cut his kicker or how to maintain basic discipline. But not fired, because the Rooneys created the Rooney Rule.
Steve Wilks - OK, one season? This guy probably did get hosed.
Why not have more referees that are women---- could have done better in the last game. Yea, thats the new mantra for this yr.
You can't hide incompetence on a football field or on the sidelines.
I’ve course I could counter with why does Jason Garrett still have a job?
NFL?
Professional athletes and all of those associated with the “sport,” are entertainers. When an entertainer chooses to disrespect our country’s flag, and the commissioner and owners do little or nothing about it, the “game” ceases to be part of my life. An entertainer has no right to “make a statement” about anything when he is on the field or when he represents his team, league or sport.
Now, when the race of any of those who entertain becomes important, we are allowing social issues to replace the business of entertaining. The business demands performance. If the coach or player under performs, he or she is gone.
Mixing racial considerations with performance is a loser. It has not proved successful in business or sports.
Stop the madness.
No longer care. Go ahead, kill the NFL. After 40 years of devotion, I’ve found over the past 2 years I’m perfectly fine not following it.
