Barnicle suggests that President Trump represents a “clear and present danger.” Barnicle clearly has no clue as to the meaning of the phrase, since it relates to circumstances under which First Amendment freedoms can be restricted. It bears no relationship to the presidency.
Barnicle seemed to be desperately trying to make some provocative point. It’s time to put him out to pasture and replace him with a Trump-friendly conservative—something that would enliven a Morning Joe that has become boring and predictable.

Trump is a clear and present danger to the “Deep State” and its corruption. This includes the mainstream media and some of the ‘conservative’ media, the entertainment industry, and much of academia. They have also invaded Corporate headquarters of some of America’s and the world’s biggest companies and conglomerates. Yes, people like Barnicle should be quite concerned.
When Barnicle finally realizes the wording in the Pledge of Allegiance, I may listen to him. I doubt it.
