Does anyone know —
If President Trump decides to give the SOTU from the senate chambers, can Mitch McConnell (or a simple majority of senators) bar all members of the house of reps from entry?

While the House chamber is larger, the seating arrangement with minimal tables enables a much larger seating capacity. Take the desks out of the Senate and set up chairs throughout the chamber, it could likely accomodate the House, Senate, Supreme Court, Chiefs of Staff, and Cabinet members, but would be very limited on other guests. However, if Nancy forces the issue, this is where it should go - and likely many Democrat Congress members would opt out of attending leaving seats for more supportive guests. Leave an empty seat for Nancy simply for effect.
I don’t think they can afford to be rude. Consider the backlash Wilson got. But it is years later and standards have fallen, Trump Derangement Syndrome has made anything possible. Some idiot might even try to throw a shoe at the president.

And talk about seating. I’ll bet those Covington students will be there. Heck, if Pelosi bars him, hold the State of the Union Speech in Kentucky. Might be McConnell’s first visit back in years, but bet he’d welcome some face time with his constituents.
My comments were based on the current set-up - didn’t think about them removing the desks. I agree with the Senate being next best choice after the House. I did read that the Senate would have to vote, Mitch can’t have the President give the speech there on his own authority (?).
As I said before, I trust Trump to get it done, one way or the other! Win-win, as long as he actually gives the speech, somewhere, somehow.

Do it in the Senate Chambers and only 100 People will have Seats, the rest would be forced to stand through the entire Speech.

Talking about RGB. I saw to guys yesterday sitting in the row in front of me on an Atlanta to Salt Lake City flight, both watching the RGB documentary. I can’t imagine any flight being that boring. Guess they were virtual signaling.
The irony, the twists and turns, the subplots are better than the best novel. Our President is a Magnificent Bastard! Anyone who questions his intelligence or the size of his gonads will get run over.

LOL, but I think it’s ‘expected’ she won’t be putting in an appearance due to her lengthy ‘recovery’ from surgery. She’s already had to cancel an event Jan. 29th and another on Feb. 6.
The Jan. 29th date is “interesting” .... was that on purpose to avoid the SOTU since she’s already shown her bias where Trump is concerned? Or was the 29th SOTU date a coinky dink? Inquiring minds would like to know!
