Nobody should be all that surprised that leftist mobs and their mainstream media allies perpetrated a false story about Covington Catholic schoolboys in MAGA hats supposedly 'mocking' a Native American, followed by a Twitter feeding frenzy that's going to get them a lawsuit. As John Hinderaker notes, the blue checkmarks are now swiftly deleting and scrubbing their Twitter statements in a pathetic bid to avoid getting sued.
MAGA kids, of course, know what the left is like from other incidents, and probably can deal that behavior on some level.
But what isn't good is the embrace of the dishonest narrative from the kids' own school and their own Catholic diocese, falsely condemning them in some amazing public calumny they have yet to retract. It's shocking, actually.

Good point.
I saw two different camera views and audio. It took very little time to find out what really happened. Heck, it’s all over YouTube.
If I had been an administrator at the school, I would have taken the time to investigate before making a public statement.

“The churches in the time of Jesus time were local. It was ran by local church office holders.”
Agree. Let’s hear it for local independent churches! We attended an SBC church for a while, and left because of the hierarchy. Offerings went to some far-away place. Missions programs were managed at HQ. So many issues that worried us. Everything was loosy-goosy and we members were pretty much out of the loop.
Sounds like this Catholic vs Catholic situation is now antagonistic. Very sad. And shameful.
American Thinker’s article was spot on — until he brought up the Philly Starbucks story. He has that one wrong. Those customers were in the right.
But, he’s correct about the Covington Catholic story.
Mske no mistake! Nathan Phillips is gearing up for a huge settlement on his lawsuit against the diocese.
Just wearing the MAGA hat was enough to trigger anxiety in/ create a threatening situation for the Native American.
“It might be the Smirk”
There was no “smirk” by the student. That is a lie created by the media using the false impression in the photograph.
The video shows the student just standing there smiling in a friendly way while the so called “elderly Vietnam Vet” went up to him and continued drumming an inch away from his face and others insulted him.
The supposed “smirk” was a lie be the media.
the black Israelites keep being ignored.
A smirk is in the eye of the beholder
There is a great deal of media and public relations stupid going on right now.
I’ve found that each parish has its own “personality” (if you will). Some Catholics I know hop from parish to parish.
It’s a shame for these boys that their school and diocese and the March for Life didn’t stand up for them.
‘However, I think another factor could be that the satan is also REALLY beginning to feel the weight of the very short time he has left.’
I’m sure you’re aware that people have been saying that Satan’s number is up for several centuries...
‘He was afraid to confront the black hate group and wanted to create a scene with the white MAGA hat crackers.’
somewhere (maybe on here) I saw video that showed these black Israelite idiots dumping on the indigenous group for their worship of totems and false gods...where was Mr. Phillips then...?
He claims he was trying to defuse a potentially violent situation; yep, by banging a drum in a teenager’s face...the adults in this whole incident have failed in the most miserable terms...
Exactly! This Diocese is currently being sued by hundreds of victims for
its endemic, deep-seated, decades of abuse against young boys! Look it up on SNAP!
Smiling?
Amen!
Sue them out of existemce..The bloomin’ eedjits!
‘If they are like our diocese, they hate Donald Trump.’
like just about everything else, it breaks down by sex; most females vote progressive, most males do not...
Great advertisement for a Catholic education there “bishop”. I speak with skin in the game having worked with great Catholic teens for 30 plus years.
People smile when they are nervous. He never spoke a word or lifted a hand.
I'm NOT trying to tear down the Church/Christianity; all Christian churches have been working on doing just that since the 1970s...with things escalating faster and faster in the past decade and now, which is INSANE.
