One aspect of the Covington controversy has received very little coverage, let alone condemnation: the outright racism, homophobia, and anti-Semitism of the (very small) black-nationalist group confronting the teenagers. If you watch the nearly two-hour YouTube video, filmed by a man who seems to be a member of the Black Israelites, you will see the black men, all adult, hurling insult after insult at the students, for well over an hour. It seems accidental that the students and the black nationalists are at the same spot on the mall — the former waiting for their buses back to Kentucky and the latter staging a small demonstration.
The students are called “hyenas,” “dogs,” “white crackers,” and “faggot.” They are ridiculed for being lice-ridden and told to “to back to Europe where you come from.” One man says he can tell by looking in the students’ eyes that they will be “school shooters.” They are the “product of sodomy.” We hear that black Jesus is coming back to kick the “white crackers’ ass.” This black Christ is not like the image of Jesus the boys supposedly hold — that Jesus is a “faggot child molester.” “Your president is a homosexual!” one man yells. He urges the teenagers to look up a YouTube video of Rudy Giuliani in drag, kissing Donald Trump. (I imagine he is referring to the skit for a charity event in 2000 that featured Giuliani in, yes, a fetching blond wig, dress, and heels.) By “your president,” the black nationalist obviously means Trump, but one student hoists up a campaign poster of Obama, and only about 10 percent of the students are wearing MAGA hats. One boy says that most of the kids in the group aren’t old enough to vote yet...

The media have conveniently and deliberately ignored this aspect of the incident.
This is the type of racism the media nor the Democratic party ever condemn. One can only assume both find it acceptable.
The fathers of these kids deserve to have five minutes alone in a room with a baseball to confront racist scumbags that were taunting their sons.
Whenever I get a little discouraged by race relations, I just start singing that wonderful song by Three Dog Night that brought so many of us together.

Equality is wonderful. All are equal. When we sit side by side, black and white, it is great. Just living life as people; noticing our difference in hues is fine, normal, but not as a negative. I love my brothers, I love my sisters, in Christ. What saddens me is the excuses, the ignoring, when those who are in the minority do racist things and it is ignored, it is not called out, like the Black Israelites...no one, no blacks anywhere of consequence call it out as a divider of us...by pretending it doesn’t exist does nothing for unity. Not a new-age, goofy unity, but a human unity...as equals. This is disappointing. To feel better, I have hope and watch things like my fave vid on this subject...if you can’t laugh at this, you take life too seriously:

After watching it, imagine just living together without the crap we have to put up with...some republican “dumb racists who don’t know they are”, liberal racists (all of them are and they don’t know it), and black racists, who are protected from being called out and divide us.
Yeah, it’s a nice place to think about.

LOL! The “chief” is of the Omaha tribe, a small tribe that never had a war with the US. The US protected them from the more belligerent Sioux, Cheyenne and Arapaho. There were lots of tribes who joined with the US against the Hostiles.
