The images in a series of videos that went viral on social media Saturday showed a tense scene near the Lincoln Memorial. In them, a Native American man steadily beats his drum at the tail end of Friday’s Indigenous Peoples March while singing a song of unity for indigenous people to “be strong” in the face of the ravages of colonialism that now include police brutality, poor access to health care and the ill effects of climate change on reservations. Surrounding him are a throng of young, mostly white teenage boys, several wearing Make America Great Again caps, with one standing about a foot from the drummer’s face wearing a relentless smirk.

You have good ears. He is singing the AIM song, which is the anthem of the AIM, the group most famous for its support of Leonard Peltier. Peltier murdered 2 FBI agents.

He pushed his way into the boys crowd in a harassing manner IMO. The young boy in front would not move to allow him to get any closer to the rest.

So going forward into a crowd of people is a "retreat" now. Only in the mind of the left wing activist who sees a chance to go after pro-life conservative kids.
I should have known it was a media ‘set up’ of fake news to make MAGA group look bad. You only have to see a few seconds more of the before footage to see that.
The drummer approaching into the young boys (encroaching). And getting right up into a few inches of one of the boys beating the drum right into his face. The boy didn’t run away. And just smiled. So now he the young boy is labeled everything evil.
And naturally a full media was right on the scene before hand and following the whole encounter. Selectively posting only part of it. And like all of the media fake news, they knew full well what was going on. And reporting a ‘story’ to support their agenda only.
I watch.
I can see the memes, strategies, smear campaigns unfolding.
It provides a window in to their operations.
I also don’t mind the true believers being so mixed up and detached from reality. They waste and energy time on idiocy.

At around 2:15 in the video at that first link, the boys fall silent, and one of them asks, “What’s going on?” Suddenly the boys seem to realize something is not right with this situation - because the older man won’t stop drumming in the one boy’s face.
