House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday urged President Donald Trump in a letter to either reschedule his State of the Union address or deliver it in writing to Congress while the government continues to be partially shut down.

President Trump will deliver his address to a joint session of Congress as scheduled. The democrats will boycott it. Who cares?
President Rump is making Pelosi look ridiculous.
And when they boycott the address, they will not be allowed to have a reply on the Networks.

and the President needs to be invited to the House... could he be invited to give SOTUA in the Senate Chambers?
She owns the chamber and the invitation. He has no right to deliver it without her invitation.
I hope he gives a rousing speech, chastising the democrat’s obstruction, with a video playing behind him, showing mobilized convoys of SeaBees and COE construction equipment moving toward the border.
If the Dems boycott, will the Senate Chamber hold the full contingent of Pub Congress members?
Absolutely. He can send out invites to all of the senators and congressman and dignitaries (make sure he requires an r.s.v.p.) Perhaps the few Republican congressman could force a house vote on the proposal to force pelosi to have the State of the Union on the house floor, in order to get all of the democrats on record.
That there would be a report to Congress, not the date. And Presidents initially made a written report, not one in person. I forget which president began delivering it in person.
