How does boycotting meetings end the shutdown?

Does anyone really think there was a chance that the meeting would have let to an end to the shutdown? Really?
Trump needs to keep inviting Dems, the optics of Dems boycotting is horrible, for the DEMS.
There is not one single damn reason for not providing the $5.7 bil in a trillion dollar budget which will help solve a big part of an ongoing problem.
Pelosi ain’t gonna budge. Maybe if the polls keep trending to toward support for the wall she’ll have a change of heart, but that’s liable to be a while.
I’ve been saying for a while that the most likely scenario is that Repubs in the Senate will fold.
I guess their polls show the DEMs not losing support so far. It will be a matter of who blinks first. I would put money on the GOP.
PDJT knows how this game is played. Soon every Dem Congress Critter who us from one of the states carried by Trump in 2016
are going to receive offers they cannot refuse.(Nice little earmarks in your constituency?)
They will come to the WH, and PDJT will convince them to vote yes on a border security package too.

I believe President Trump is under estimating the attention span in the level of intelligence of those who watch TV. I think he actually is missing a big opportunity and should be tweeting about this hourly. He should also be holding a press briefing daily to talk about Pelosi still getting paid. To talk about boycotting the White House meeting. To talk about how 5.7 billion dollars is nothing compared to what we spend on other things and the government waste that exists. He should also have the angel moms at the White House. Again I think he’s missing an opportunity and should be pushing this even harder and showing the American people especially these stupid 50% who think CNN MSNBC PBS NPR NBC Etc a real news.
