Climate change arguably humanitys most existential challenge requires urgent global action.
As the World Economic Forums Global Risk Report 2019 will show only too clearly, environmental crises notably a failure to tackle climate change are among the likeliest and highest-impact risks that the world faces over the next decade. Indeed, 2018 saw record levels of costs due to extreme weather events.
The urgent scientific message on climate change finds it hard to cut through the news cycle and the competing agendas of our ever more complex world. The effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the economy, employment and national security, for example, capture much of the attention time of political and business leaders. Rising uncertainties about the future of jobs and growth are forcing many politicians to turn inward for quick fixes to domestic insecurities, rather than lean outward to cooperate on more complex global issues such as climate change.
Looking ahead into 2019, the World Economic Forum is proud to support the United Nations Secretary Generals important Climate Summit in September, which seeks to scale exactly such innovative multi-stakeholder collaboration to help tackle the climate crisis. To this end, I have high hopes that this years Annual Meeting in Davos can help spur the renewed push for action on climate that we require for the months ahead. To do so, we must encourage both the Davos spirit for collaboration and the action platform approach to help scale our collective problem-solving for global issues, which Globalisation 4.0 calls for.

Ah, Davos slugs speak.
Great! A German proposing a solution. Just what the world needs!

Goebbels at Davos. Trump skipped it.
Globalism 4.0 = Same Old Totalitarian Fascism
At least they are finally admitting that global warming is a ruse to get feeble minded snowflakes to accept...nay...demand global government.
They will eventually adopt the Thanos Solution: Kill half the people. At least.
Globalism - A Final Solution for free and sovereign nations.
[Globalism 4.0 = Same Old Totalitarian Fascism]
Yes, but unlike Globalism 3.5, this time they made Internet Explorer a separate product.
;)
Globalists want an open borders, one world totalitarian government.
Climate change is merely a means to it.
BLAH Blah blah blah blah—THIS again??
Green is the new brown shirt.
Voluntary Human Extinction. Oh wait - its not voluntary if the government has mandated it.
Great! A German proposing a solution. Just what the world needs!
Yes but unlike the times before, this solution will be final
Just like in the 40s. Same chit.
Davos...
Q: How is sending trillions of dollars to Africa going to reverse “Climate Change”?
A: “You can be arrested for asking that question”
LOL. A does of something horrible to deal with a fake disease. I’m surprised they didn’t add in that Socialism or some massive international tax to fund UN research to the mix.
Yeah, and all we have to do is give up our national sovereignty and let the United Nations decide what’s best for us and the world. End poverty, end wars, end global warming. End capitalism, end nationalism, end Western, ie, Christian Civilization. Spread the wealth around.
