The mainstream media, basically running interference for the evil Iranian regime. The mainstream media IS the enemy of the American people.
To me, Iran is by far America's greatest enemy. Not Russia. Not China. Not anybody else. I don't hear Putin regularly calling for the total destruction of America. Same with China. In fact China wants America to be prosperous because we are by far China's biggest export market accounting for by far China's biggest trade surplus.
Iran's regime on the other hand is as close to pure evil as one can get. It would be bordering on insane if we didn't have comprehensive plans to wipe out the Iranian regime and all its support structures like the revolutionary guards.

US has strike plans and does war scenarios on just about every area that is considered a problem. This is a BS story to make the Administration look bad.
What would be scary is if they asked for plans and the Pentagon had none. Then heads should roll for total incompetence.
