South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham had harsh words on Sunday for Democrats who might balk at potential replacements for any upcoming Supreme Court vacancies.

Dems will have to strategize hard. Its been less than 6 months since the Kavanaugh fiasco.
They can’t conduct the same freak-show when RBG kicks off. The American public will not accept it.

I think that they are about out of having any more tricks! That said, this is for all the marbles for them so they will create a spectacle. Ruthie has to understand that her “gig is up” at the SCOTUS. If she can’t function as Justice and show up for arguments etc., The Court will have to have some discussions about asking her to vacate her seat. Roberts is a POS, but even he won’t be able to cover for her for very much longer.
With assistance from the media, the Dems will dish out anything they want to and the American public will take it.
It has been thus since the Clintons moved in on us about thirty years ago.
The next confirmation hearing will be worse. There is more at stake for the Dems. Trump and hs/our nominee will prevail.

I have changed my dogmatic view of Lindsey. He is standing strong with America. His efforts on the Wall have been great. He is now head of the Judiciary committee and I saw fierce retaliation in his eyes for the failed character assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh ( where is the Chrisitine Ford liar? Where the hell is she?) and I saw determination in Senator Graham to replace the socialist cadaver with a staunch Conservative right down the communists throat. Buzzy is not doing her job— She needs to GET OUT NOW!

And as far as the rule change goes, we warned them. We said that it would be used against them. We said they wouldn't like it. But they never think about unintended consequences -- because they're Leftists.
If Trump nominates Amy Coney Barrett, the Left will focus on her Catholic beliefs and the fact that she has too many children is “extreme” and is not fit to serve on the Supreme Court. Watch.

If I were Graham, I would be more worried about the Republican quislings in the Senate rather than the Rats.
I predict the Dems will argue that since Trump is under investigation for impeachment he should not be able to put forward another SC nominee until impeachment investigation/proceedings have concluded. Then they’ll slow walk proceedings for two years.
They can't. I will be an Anti-Catholic diatribe all day all the time if it is A.C.Barrett as the candidate. They have already asked her a boat load of loaded questions in that regards when she had to go in front of the Senate. Look, the Church, this Pope, Priest behaving badly, and their outreach programs have them under a cloud, but the faithful slog on regardless of all that in the background.
They will be going after the faithful by extension even worse than they did by trying to destroy Kanvannagh's memory of and the fact that he just attended a Catholic School.
They are playing with fire IMHO. How do the faithful not vote against this discrimination should they really want to step in it again...
I can’t tell you how to admire his ACTIONS. He spent his all in trying to make a deal with the devil democrats that would have done wall,security,Daca, Merit based immigration and work permits. He was SPIT on by the Democrats who think they can stand for illegal aliens before the safety, security and sovereignty of this country just because they lost the election. This is Trump’s finest hour and he will go down in history over this but Standing with him now ( and somewhat unexpectedly) is Senator Linsey Graham. Thank you Senator. It tells me we have already won. Praise Jesus.

I am they will tone down the rhetoric like they did for years with Sarah Palin, this isnt a mere vice presidential appointment, this is a five alarm existential threat
They don’t have any overly effective tools available to delay it. It will be 3-4 months from nomination to confirmation no matter what. You’ve already heard rumblings of the fall back position: if they can recover the presidency and the senate they’re going to try to pack the court
I hope he selects Amy Coney Barrett. I just want to see the left attack her. I thought they could not attack a person’s religion. I, once again, want to see them expose who they really are.
I think they will follow the Kavanaugh playbook and track down anybody she might have dated in high school or college. They will try to find out if she was a "good [Catholic] girl" or if they can find a boy to say she had premarital sex, or "fooled around," or behaved in any way opposite to religious living.
They will do this to paint her as a hypocrite, a religious fundamentalist who only recently took on these beliefs after a "wild child" youth, and therefore too unreliable to be a Supreme Court Justice.
