Does she mean the families who can skip work for a month or so and will have all the back pay covered? (AKA “vacation”)
Or the families of people who are murdered, raped, run over and killed by drunk Mexicans, had their communities flooded with dope...etc?

She is so right, it is time for the senate democrats to stop this insane shutdown based on their hatred for Trump, and pass a bill that protects our country AND puts these people back to work.
The democrats would rather have people out of work than to give DHS what they say they desperately need, just because they hate Trump. The republicans want to build the wall and put the people back to work.

You know how that works. “I’ll be happy to shut down the government” makes it Trump’s shutdown in spite of the actions of Democrats. Trump didn’t sign any kind of executive order that said “the government must shut down”. All on the Democrats in Congress.

I agree with Sen. Murray. I hope Senate republicans will continue doing the right thing until we get border wall funding.
Correction, it’s a Schumer shutdown, not Trump shutdown.

Trump has families in mind as he endures the Democrats’, not Trump’s, shutdown of the government: The families of the people killed by illegals, the families who might have jobs except that illegals have those jobs, the families who pay huge tax bills only to see that money going to benefits given to people who are in their country ILLEGALLY!
