On Friday we learned that the FBI had opened an investigation into President Trump and his connection to Russia following his firing of former FBI Director James Comey in 2017.
After reading the report in the New York Times, President Trump penned a response on Twitter on Saturday. Here's the "funny thing about James Comey," the president explained, before entering into a diatribe about the "real collusion," via Hillary Clinton, that special counsel Robert Mueller should be investigating.
...Funny thing about James Comey. Everybody wanted him fired, Republican and Democrat alike. After the rigged & botched Crooked Hillary investigation, where she was interviewed on July 4th Weekend, not recorded or sworn in, and where she said she didn’t know anything (a lie),....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2019
....the FBI was in complete turmoil (see N.Y. Post) because of Comey’s poor leadership and the way he handled the Clinton mess (not to mention his usurpation of powers from the Justice Department). My firing of James Comey was a great day for America. He was a Crooked Cop......— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2019
.....who is being totally protected by his best friend, Bob Mueller, & the 13 Angry Democrats - leaking machines who have NO interest in going after the Real Collusion (and much more) by Crooked Hillary Clinton, her Campaign, and the Democratic National Committee. Just Watch!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2019
I have been FAR tougher on Russia than Obama, Bush or Clinton. Maybe tougher than any other President. At the same time, & as I have often said, getting along with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. I fully expect that someday we will have good relations with Russia again!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2019
Most top Republicans disagree that the Mueller probe is a "witch hunt" and argue that the special counsel should be allowed to do his job. But, they'd also note that while the investigation has resulted in several indictments of Trump's former campaign aides, none of those charges were directly related to Russian collusion.
Trump sealed it with one more tweet about the FBI.
Lyin’ James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter S and his lover, agent Lisa Page, & more, all disgraced and/or fired and caught in the act. These are just some of the losers that tried to do a number on your President. Part of the Witch Hunt. Remember the “insurance policy?” This is it!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2019
I hear ya. Why didn’t he pick a Trey Gowdy?
With rare stellar exceptions, President Trump’s batting average on hiring MAGA people is abysmal.
How the hell does that work?
Orange Man bad. Thats how.

Meet the new Boss
Same as the old Boss

“Thats when the White House hung its decision to fire Comey, who led the FBI investigation into potential ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia, on a memo Rosenstein wrote criticizing Comeys handling of the investigation into Hillary Clintons private email server.”
This helped Trump make the decision to fire Comey
Most top Republicans say the Mueller investigationisnt a witch hunt. Most top Republicans are liars.
How the hell does that work?>>
The Obama tribe at DOJ and FBI...that’s how it works. All of them should have been fired and replaced on day 1.A RICO investigation is in order...by a special prosecutor after Mueller is fired.
Muellers role is to cover up the attempted putsch of President Trump by Obama, Hillery Clinton, Brennan, Clapper and Comey. President Trump had no collusive realationship with Russia, and Mueller knows it. His continuing work is a cover up, to keep Brennan, Comey amd Clapper out of jail, and to keep the image of the Obama Clinton “legacy” pure..
If Barr would not do RICO , then PDJT is making a huge mistake in appointing Barr.
Trump needs someone who will do the dirty job that needs to be done, certainly no one from the deep state.
Due to a computer problem, I lost a 2,000 word column I wrote yesterday on the NYTimes “disinformation and misdirection” piece about an earlier FBI secret operation against newly elected President Trump. Therefore I’ll just summarize some of its key points and let them speak for themselves.
* The NYT piece is multifaceted, including elements of Communist-style “Disinformation”, misinformation, diversion objectives, liars, distortions and just a plain old smear job against Trump.
* Off the top of my head, the NYT smear artists wrote that Trump had asked the Russians “to hack” the Hillary/DNC computers” - He did not. He was joking about their possible spying on the U.S. but the Left has no sense of humor.
They also accused him of other things he didn’t do, and today I heard that it might have been then who were also accusing Trump of giving the Russians classified information, held a meeting with Russian officials a day after something (diplomatic meetings are set up weeks ahead of time re scheduling and security, another thing unknown or deliberately overlooked by the NYT and other leftist media forums), etc.
All this give the President and the Republican-controlled Senate a chance to launch full-scale, totally professional investigations into every aspect of the Dossiergate, DNC/Hillary computers cover-ups and alleged hacks, FBI collusion with private organizations in order to literally overthrow the election of Pres. Trump, the FBI/CIA/DNI, and State Dept. “Deep State” subversive network and operations to pervert and subvert U.S. laws and frame the new president (Mueller had some experience in “framing” of 4 innocent men in the related Whitey Bulger case, aided specifically by Andrew Weissman.
Simultaneously with professional run congressional investigations which issue subpoenas and contempt citations like rain, should be a newly empaneled grand jury that would run criminal parallel inquiries (and send uncooperative 5th Amendment types to jail for the length of the grand jury, cancel their security clearances, seize their offices/files/electronic equipment and home computers/phones, etc).
While the Democrats will set up “star chamber” hearings in the House, often run by “The Crazy Dozen” (Schiff, Cummings, Johnson, etc), the Senate has the real power to dig like a dog after a very big bone into the Democrat Party’s corruption of federal law enforcement agencies and related federal agencies (State, IRS, etc).
If Sen. Lindsay Graham has finally grown a gigantic set of balls, have him “Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war” on the Democrats.
Also, time to see if former so-called “top” British MI6 counterintelligence agent was just an anti-Trump psychopath, was coopted by the Russians (i.e. blackmailed into helping them undermine Trump), or had become a turncoat.
This investigation, aided by a subpoena to Steele (with a demand for extradition to go with it), would sweep up the whole Left “Deep State” that consisted basically of the leadership of the FBI, CIA, DOJ, DNI, State Dept., DNC, Fusion GPS (and Nellie Ohr and her DOJ husband), the Clintons (and foundations, etc - SERVERGATE criminal actions, writers (Michael Isikoff, David Corn, etc. for promoting fake attacks on the President, his staff, family, friends, etc), and even the newspapers who published possible Russian intelligence “disinformation” materials, i.e. Steele’s very trustworthy 3 Russian “sources” about Trump and prostitutes, etc.
People who have not been interviewed before MUST be interviewed by real professionals, not the Mueller criminal crew, including not only former FBI, CIA, and NSA people, but also those from the DIA, Homeland Security, and any other relevant security agency in the govt.
As a former FBI confidential informant (many years ago), I know what professionals are like and counted among my friends and acquaintances at least one top Asst Dir for Counter-Intelligence, one top SAC-DC, former FBI deep cover agents, and various law enforcement officers (mainly from intelligence units) that I knew and/or worked with over time.
I also worked on an Organized Crime Task Force whose work was emasculated by Attorney General Janet Reno in order to protect Mafia connections of Bill & Hillary Clinton, and various segments of the Democrat Party - DSSC.
For those who have not read my posts before, the major public source for a lot of this is “The American Spectator”, April 1977, Byron York, “Let’s Be Friends: A Mob-Controlled Union Delivers the Goods for Bill”. IT will blow you mind and show you just how corrupt the Democrats have been and possibly still are.
The time for Pres. Trump to act is NOW. I don’t know anything about possible AG Barr, but I don’t want a political hack or Mr. Picky to head the DOJ or any Trump investigation.
I want a damned hungry “junkyard dog” of a leader/investigator who will leave no rock unturned, even if it means blowing them up to find the criminal scum under them.
Our country has two years left to determine whether it will remain a republican, free-enterprise, free speech, 2nd Amendment country, or become a 2nd World heading to 3rd World “progressive socialist” shithole and internment camp for conservatives.
Who this leader would be, I dont’ know but I would nominate Joe DiGenova, maybe Rudy Guiliani, Clare Lopez, and Dan Bongino as top aide. I’ll take a job with them if offered and I will take no prisoners.
Time to ask Pres. Trump to destroy the Left, legally before they destroy him and America.

Should be April 1997. Having problems with keyboard. Thanks for picking up the error.
I have given up on Trumps personel picks.

Yes. They attended the weddings of each other's kids for cripes sake! You are giving the fox the key to the chicken coup and hoping you will have a positive outcome.
Swamp critters need not apply.
There HAS TO BE an AAG out in flyover country somewhere who is not associated with the Mueller/Comey/Brennan thugs and can step into the AG position. He doesn't need the most sterling of a college and law school degrees, he just needs to be an honest man who will uphold the law.
Same goes for the FBI. There has got to be some junior investigator out in Kansas or Nebraska who is an honest cop and has the backbone to do the job. If he has the cover of PDJT, he will succeed in the clean-up.
Donald Trump wasn't this bad as a businessman in making his picks or he never would have been successful. I can only assume the duties are being delegated and handled horribly.
“Will the new AG do anything?”
The the Left will be brought to justice for their attempted soft coup against the President, but it won’t come in the form of lengthy jail sentences or hangings, as many here are demanding.
These crimes took place in the political realm and the punishment will have to be political. As frustrating as it may be, Trump’s executive branch agencies, where all federal law enforcement functions reside, will have to stand down. Basically one giant recusal.
By far the most fitting and enduring punishment for this politically motivated abuse of power that Obama and his minions have undertaken will not be meted out by federal law enforcement - it will be meted out by we the people.
Sure, Trump could seek to rebuild his FBI, DOJ, etc. with loyalists and direct them to prosecute the Obama coconspirators but doing so quickly becomes problematic:
Like it or not, the President is the head of the Republcan Party, and his executive branch is rightly viewed by the people as a Republican administration. Any support the President received from congressional oversight committees in this endeavor would come almost exclusively from Republicans, and would be opposed by Democrats.
Opinion polls would be splashed daily across the MSM screens and front pages showing registered Republicans supported what the DOJ was doing, while Democrats saw it as another political witch hunt. Even if Trump managed to put some of the culprits in jail, they would become martyrs over night and get full pardons as soon as the Democrats regained power. As for hangings, it’s silly to even talk about it - it would never happen and if it did it would be the end of the Republican Party.
Now, let’s talk about the alternative form of justice - the one President Trump is actually pursuing.
The President is making his case before the people, and challenging the Left to a war of words and ideas. Every day, he finds opportunities to expose their lies and call Obama’s coconspirators out for their crimes. Every day he passes up opportunities to weaponize his DOJ and FBI to fight his battles for him. Why?
The important thing to realize is that he is CHOOSING to do it this way - it’s not a matter of the deep state being too powerful and blocking his actions - he decided long ago that he wants to fight this battle in the political arena - NOT via federal law enforcement, not his AG, not his FBI..
He is going to win this where it counts - in the hearts and minds of we the people.
Ask yourself this - if you had to choose one or the other, which would be a better outcome:
A) Obama, Clinton and a bunch of other coconspirators go to jail - the American people have a mixed reaction along party lines - half are thrilled, half are furious. Republicans, under Trump’s leadership gain new respect for their willingness to fight back and use all of the power of the federal government at their disposal - but the American people fear both parties have lost their moral compass.
or B) The President forgoes the whole weaponized DOJ approach and instead continues to expose the Left, set them up to look like childish fools, like Acosta, time after time, until the political correctness fog lifts, and the American people get to see the truth about how low the Left has sunk, how depraved has been the behavior of the DNC, the Obama administration, the Clinton Foundation, the bought and paid for MSM... The American people finally see the corruption - and are horrified. The Democrat party never wins another election for a generation.
Now that’s an outcome I’d like to see. I think that’s what President Trump is shooting for - not jail time - but political banishment.
Don’t get me wrong - I’m mad enough that I’d really like to see the public hangings - I just think it would be a very short-lived victory, whereas the President’s course is going to reshape politics for generations.
No. I have not given up on Trump.
I have given up trying to understand his personel picks.
