On Friday we learned that the FBI had opened an investigation into President Trump and his connection to Russia following his firing of former FBI Director James Comey in 2017.
After reading the report in the New York Times, President Trump penned a response on Twitter on Saturday. Here's the "funny thing about James Comey," the president explained, before entering into a diatribe about the "real collusion," via Hillary Clinton, that special counsel Robert Mueller should be investigating.

I have been FAR tougher on Russia than Obama, Bush or Clinton. Maybe tougher than any other President. Most top Republicans disagree that the Mueller probe is a "witch hunt" and argue that the special counsel should be allowed to do his job. But, they'd also note that while the investigation has resulted in several indictments of Trump's former campaign aides, none of those charges were directly related to Russian collusion.
Trump sealed it with one more tweet about the FBI.

What what I can see, the one is there now is no different from the OLD AG, and Barr, from all accounts, is a swamp creature from whom we can expect absolutely nothing.
I love President Trump - but he’s batting exactly ZERO with his appointments to the Justice Department.
The FBI and DOJ fearing a slew of firings, floats this latest suggestion Trump may be a Russian agent to provide Democrats ammunition in an impeachment tilt if Trump were to make the move.
That’s it. Nothing more.

The ones cahooting with russia were/are the ones after Trump for what they are doing. How in the world can we get all that turned around and get hillary, bill and obama and the rest... held accountable?!! There is no one who will tackle it nor anyone who even wants to. They wanted to do the worst to Trump and let the damned criminals go free.
Our country cannot survive what they have done if there is no accountability! More will do what they get by with and the whole infestation will never be cleaned up. Too much accepting of lies, power addictive in charge, elitism that makes a person think they are above any law.. and kill the messenger! New AG will have to recuse himself, too. Best buddies with Mueller and wives are in bible studies together. Surprised the church doesn’t come crashing down on their heads.

I have given up on Trump’s personel picks.
Their church surely can’t be the one where they use a Bible in Bible study... the one that would repudiate their life style and beliefs they show by hating Trump.
It doesn’t match up with reality... and we can’t afford to trust anyone.. not anyone who lives in or has lived in and around Washington DC. They have a condition that makes them King and no can touch the Kings who are making a mockery of our government.
Mueller was best buddies with Comey but he didn't recuse himself from any of this.
I would guess this is what dirty corrupt Schumer was referring to.

Comey was the designated fall-guy.
The Obama Administration had broken a multitude of laws by illegally spying on their political enemies using the Intelligence Community assets and classified electronics intercepts.
The DOJ National Security Division management, the FBI Counter Intelligence Division management and CIA Director Brennan all committed felonies in conspiring to spy on and take down Donald Trump.
The only way to guarantee their not going to prison was to get an investigation started to hide their activity. They accused Sessions of being part of the collusion. They also pushed, obliquely, to get Comey fired.
When Comey was fired, that opened the door to an Obstruction of Justice charge. Sessions recusal enable the Special Counsel to be appointed without being stopped.
Who is advising him on these appointments? Please don’t tell me Jared and Ivanka.
I’ve been wondering why Jeff Sessions would allow this. Did his recusal extend to this as well? Did he not know about it? Or was he not confirmed yet? I haven’t seen anything about this. Does anyone know the answers to any of these questions?
