Trump walks out of shutdown meeting, calling talks 'total waste of time'

President Donald Trump walked out of discussions to end a partial government shutdown, now in its third week, calling discussions with congressional Democrats "a total waste of time."

"Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!" Trump said.

This is true....George Washington walked into the Senate Chamber with his Secretary of War (Knox) by his side. He sat down and they presented a Treaty to the Senate for their "advise and consent".

Whoa said the Senate head....we haven't even seen this before. We have to discuss it and we'll get back to you.

President Washington was furious....and said...Then why am I here?...and Washington stormed out of the Chamber.

I'm worried about Trump's tweet which includes:

So it looks like, like Reagan, Trump is willing to take a promise from the democrats after handing over the goods.

Big mistake. The commies will NOT follow through because it thwarts their plan to tear the country down and the chance to fix this will be gone.

Unless of course, the house impeaches and 20 Republican Senators join with the dems to convict. That could happen. But President Trump is on the right path here, if he loves this country more than he loves his career, he will stick to this. If Dems and 20 Reps remove him, so be it. I just hope that Mr. Pence will care more about this country and not about his political career to stand firm also.

Well, if nothing else works WITH CONGRESS...now you’re left with only one option, which is to declare a national emergency and have the Corps of Engineers build the Wall

Trump will not do it. Why? No damn reasonable reason except his lack of taking this step will result in hundreds Americans killed or injured. This has become a game and I don't appreciate it.

Simple solution: Award Mexico $5b in “foreign aid”, then have Mexico build the wall with the money.

Ways Trump can win:

Declaring National Emergency and building the wall or
Waiting until Democrats have heard enough from snap recipients and furloughed government employees and drug addicts that Dem’s give in.
Debating the issue in public, like he did last night. Which paints the democrats as week on border security.
Waiting for the public debate to swing more strongly in favor of the wall.
Reduction in the federal workforce as employees quit for more stable paychecks.
Closing border entrances to reduce imports, reducing the trade deficit and supporting American companies.
Slowing customs for the same reason.

Addition: first, let the new caravan reach the border; military stops them, close the border then declare emergency with full optics (use Arizona, California, Texas resources to capture as much as possible images of this since the MSM won’t)
