I don’t reckon you and Gizmo made it out to the lake in that luverly weather y’all have had the past 24 hours or so. Looked mighty ugly on the radar.
Cloudy ad cool all day here and now it’s raining again. *sigh*

We cancelled our trip to the lake yesterday because the roads were too bad for us to do any traveling. However it’s supposed to clear out today so we’ll see if the roads improve some for the trip to the lake later today.

Good Morning Kathy! (((HUGS))) - in Denver on reserve for four days, might get a flight, might not - still get paid for waiting.

Agree on both the greatness of the two songs and on the tricks our brains can play on us.

Frank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X69P_Vce9vwLoved that "Luck Be a Lady" link! (Music and lyrics by Frank Loesser for the 1950 musical Guys and Dolls.) Heard that song and even that version many times, but one line really jumped out at me this time:
"Luckif you've ever been a lady to begin withLuck, be a lady tonight!"
LOLs! The first guy to perform that song (in
Guys and Dolls on Broadway) was Robert Alda, the father of Alan Alda of M.A.S.H. fame.
Your linked video really demonstrates the quintessential Sinatra style from the Rat Pack/Vegas era. Not possible to listen to it without remembering Joe Piscopo's hilarious mimicry of that style! Sinatra was a nasty man in many ways and I never bought any of his singles or albums when he was alive, but his incomparable music was impossible to miss on the radio, on television, in movies, even in school dances and nightclubs; it accompanied events the first 50+ years of my life. So, when he died, I felt really nostalgic and finally purchased two anthology albums on CD.
