The rule of law is dead in New Jersey. Everybody should now pick and choose which ones they want to obey. After all, nowadays their politicians get to pick and choose which ones they want to prosecute their political enemies with.
Not human nature. AMERICAN nature. No other nation has an extant tradition of armed self-defense.
Gun owners know what “Shall not be infringed” means.
That’s a bingo.
That’s what it’s all about.
Yes.
Sad but true.
No other nation has gun ownership guaranteed by their Constitution. These so called politicians need to learn the meaning of “Shall not be INFRINGED.”
Gun Owners Dont Seem Eager to Comply With New Jerseys New Magazine Ban
(clean up my posting a bit)
Theyre complying, like it or not. Theyre no longer buying the larger mags, theyre not taking them to the range*, and if theyre smart theyre not leaving them in guns for home defense, since they’d end up with more jail than the perps, time if they ever used them that way.
In fact, the only 2 things the large mags are good for: one is a total doomsday scenario, when all of society breaks down and there are no cops to examine magazine capacity, and the other is to get arrested when the cops find them.
*P.S., one of my sources also mentioned that California now has plainclothes cops at gun ranges to nail people who violate the mag law.
Only a very small number of people registered their AR-15s - it's estimated maybe 5 - 10%, (they know about how many were sold in the state - a hell of a lot more than were "accounted for").
I think we could draw the same inference about magazines. Most people just don't talk about it anymore. For good reason.
I miss read. We WERE supposed to register said mags, though.
When you’re out murdering people, worrying about a 4th degree felony hanging over your head because your magazine is not legal, is the very last thing the criminals are going to be concerning themselves with.
Wait, wait a minute.. what about Santa Claus? And unicorns?
Yea, we WERE. I admit the state knows about the one that came with the gun.
(Snicker, Snicker!)
I can guarantee you that hundreds of thousands of others weren't.
Does this mean the Non-Gun Owners were eager to comply?
Right out of Atlas Shrugged
