The author refers to “Baby It’s Cold Outside” at various times as a film, then as a song.
It was a song IN a film at one point, but the writer can’t seem to make up his mind.
Which again brings us to a familiar refrain:
Where the heck have editors disappeared to?
Baby, It's Cold Outside--Sammy Kaye & His Orchestra (1949)A different version that was also a hit:
Baby, It's Cold Outside--Homer & Jethro (1949)
Carolla has been a very outspoken vocal critic of everything 'PC' on his podcast. He also predicted this uproar from the left about this very song a little while back. He nailed it here and correctly points out that if you stand your ground and refuse to apologize, they will simply move on to an easier target. Yes, it is easier to take this stance when you don't have to rely on a corporate paycheck from a network, but Carolla has figured out these clowns and nails them to the wall at every opportunity. I highly recommend his podcast at podcastone.com
I did a search for “lyrics” on that song, and I don’t find a single reference to “Christmas”. I’m 73, and that song has been around all those years - I’ve heard it countless times - but it has never been associated directly with Christmas.
For years, I worked at small radio stations where we played Christmas music incessantly from the day after Thanksgiving to the day after Christmas (mixed in with our normal format) and we had Christmas music from every artist and orchestra I can think of, but I never remember seeing that title on a Christmas record, or album.
This was all a hype by some femanazi to gain attention, and try and spike Christmas.
The ratings were fine. The issue was that ABC / Disney execs were embarrassed that they allowed a voice that wasn't hard core leftist to make in on the air. They'd rather have a lefty failure than a "just-a-little-to-the-right-of-Bill-Clinton" success.

What BS......
What's a magazine?
As far as I know, KLUV in Dallas has still banned it. Their pussy programming director was crowing about having been ahead of the curve and pulling it last year. This is a Dallas oldies channel (was 50s/60s music in the 80s; now, they are starting to play 90s music(!)) where the on-air talent routinely disparages President Trump. Rival station Star 102.1 plays the heck out of BICO, which has caused me to sub it in my presets, but I dont think Ill love their regular music.

I think weve all been missing the obvious:
How can it be cold outside, with all that global warming going on?"
and if the song is triggering and traumatizing then by all means, lets not play it...
No. Change the station, twinkle toes.

I wanted Roseanne gone after she had a kid cross dressing.
Libs are scandalized about double entendres in a SONG??
Poor babies...
Boring = We lost.
Not really sure defending a song that just plain sucks should be considered a victory. Really, feminist complaints aside, the song BLOWS and the world will be a better place when it’s forgotten.
Indeed, apes may never forgive her for comparing them to Valerie Jarret.
Good, won one.
But we want to watch Rudolph and I cant find it anywhere. CBS was supposed to stream it on their site and guess what? They arent. Because Rudolph gets bullied and Santa is an ableist and Clarices dad wont let her date a reindeer with a rosy appendage. Anyone find Rudolph The Red Nosed reindeer anywhere on tv, or online, whole thing(1 hr) done in claymation in the 1960s, please let me know!!
