I spoke to Rep Warren Davidson and the bill is ready but will only work if passed now with funding bill before Dems take control.

This is exactly the kind of out of the box thinking that is needed here. Dems are sneaky little suckers and are adept at finding ways to find loopholes and game the system to get what they want. We have to be more savvy.
As demographics continue to work against us we will have to adapt and increasingly use unconventional tactics.
What's wrong with that?
HELL YEAH!!!! Lump it in there with all of the other male bovine scat from Washington...
I thought Mehico was paying?????
Do the same thing they did with the Gettysburg Battlefields and the U.S.S. Constitution and the school kids pennies.
I’m thinkin’ the fact that contributions are averaging $60 per person, and have mounted to nearly $15M in just four days oughta speak pretty loudly in the halls of Congress about what “We, The People” really want, and that oughta joggle some brains up there as far as what various Representatives in Congress want.
See, at some point, in the minds of these Beltway Insiders, public demonstrations like this GoFundMe campaign imply that there are future votes at stake.
Fish.
Bait.
Yeah, so there are some establishment GOP types out there trying to piss in the cornflakes... nobody owes the Flakes of the world a dime’s bit of credence, and they’d be best off to just shut the hell up.
The day I want their opinion I’ll tell it to them.
If you’re referring to the Senate vote today, it was a cloture vote not a vote on an actual bill.
His “explanation” for voting no on cloture was “I’m not voting for cloture on a bill I know will never pass”
Indeed:
According to Rep. Jim Jordan, this gofundMe campaign had a "Tremendous Impact on the House vote Gateway Pundit
The fact that we're still in this conversation about shutting down the gov't over the President's promise to veto the CR is at least partly (if not largely) due to this gofundme campaign. $13,490,967 now. Need more bait!
If the funds can’t be used for the border wall, and have to be returned, then I hope the people who made donations use the money to help fund primary challenges to the establishment republicans who are up for reelection in 2020.
We have to replace the establishment with MAGA patriots to get things done, and have long term success. We need to start preparing for that now. We have to become more successful at defeating establishment RINO’s with good candidates. We need to start vetting and recruiting strong challengers now. TRUMP 2020! MAGA!
H.R. 7207 - To allow the Secretary of the Treasury to accept public donations to fund the construction of a barrier on the border between the United States and Mexico and for other purposes.
It always amazings me how many on our side take pot shots at each other. More than the timing (by a triple amputee), the money is one thing, but the message is from God to help protect it’s people. The Steinley family and thousands of other victim’s families thank the efforts of thousands of people...
Not sure what the first part refers to, but I don't think my ping was timely, coming as it did after adjournment.
No it won't. Jeff Flake is a complete a$$hole and our country is much better off with him GONE from the U.S. Senate!!
People were waiting for someone to follow through with it.
He is the type we need in Congress, and should be the model.
REMOVE THE: and for other purposes.
THEY WILL TAKE ALL THE MONEY AND PISS IT AWAY LIKE EVERY
OTHER TIME
Chances are good your state didn't outlaw "Ballot-Harvesting". (And gave felons the right to vote).
Start building the [concrete] walls on forms laid on the ground. Later, use a crane to set them upright.
“to fund the construction...and for other purposes.”
Sounds like even that simple legislation has a loophole you could drive a truck through.
The organizer of this GoFundMe may be good hearted, but hopefuly he engages his brain before he puts his mouth in gear next time.
