he Supreme Court won’t let the Trump administration begin enforcing a ban on asylum for any immigrants who illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
New Justice Brett Kavanaugh and three other conservative justices sided with the administration.
The court’s order Friday leaves in place lower court rulings that blocked President Donald Trump’s proclamation in November automatically denying asylum to people who enter the country from Mexico without going through official border crossings.
Trump said he was acting in response to caravans of migrants making their way to the border.
The administration had also complained that the nationwide order preventing the policy from taking effect was too broad.
But Chief Justice John Roberts and the court’s four more liberal justices rejected the administration’s suggestion for narrowing it.

I guess the Supreme Court doesn’t give a damn about protecting America, either.
The Constitution give the Congress sole authority over immigration law.
Obama ignored that and wrote his own....................
We already know the deep state got to Roberts.
So we have to outvote Roberts every time, it seems.
We need someone else to retire on Trump’s watch, and soon. Of course, the best would be to cut to the chase, and for Roberts to step down and go do some pro bono work somewhere, instead of doing it from the bench.
I just wouldn’t do it.

saw this today- we supposedly have laws against people coming into our country ILLEGALLY, but roberts thinks the laws shouldn’t be enforced?

Roberts has been a SUPREME disappointment. What a disaster. A true Uniparty judge (maybe that is why he says they are not Bush or Clinton or Obama judges.... Many of them are Uniparty Deep State Globalists.
The Supreme Court swing vote is arguably the most powerful man in America. The lure of such power must be hard to resist.
Trump took care of the problem by having the people stay in Mexico and be processed there.
Until/unless Ginsburg dies and Trump can replace her without someone to render Roberts irrelevant, we’re screwed.

And the Constitution give the President sole authority over border defense.
One has a Constitutional Right to demand asylum? Or is there an existing law that the administration is violating with the executive order?

And that is that. The Supreme Court is now controlled by the left. Another Bush nominee turns out to be a full liberal turd. Whatever the left has on Roberts, it is time to find it out and use it to chase him from the Court.
