Help me to understand! Why do we need Democratic votes this year. Don’t we have the majority of votes?? Next year, no! This year, yes??
I suspect many are just paid trolls here to pass disinformation and bring down morale.
Drudge’s base used to be us.
But not since 2015, when he was warned by Justice Thomas that they planned to shut down his site after the election.
For some reason drudge takes particular glee in making anti trump statements like how he was predicting a mass House loss. He is way too happy about seeing trump humiliated. He never was like this.
I’ve had this discussion with many people. Around here, it’s not Mexicans or South Americans taking over. It’s Asians and Phillipinos. Around here people think Trump targets the wrong demographic because it has the added benefit of being good politics for the base.
But I can say this, the Chinese are taking over entire towns/neighborhoods around here. They buy gigantic homes and 8-10 people live in the homes - usually more than 2-3 generations so that both parents work while grandparents stay home and raise the kids. No daycare costs. They are parlaying this strategy into the ability to buy yup everything. Indians do it too. Diners, gas stations, delis, convenience stores...you name it. All “minority” owned.
And they bitch about white privilege.

Trump didn’t fold, he just decided to use a different tactic, using funds from different sources. There is no shame on Trump, the Wall is going to be built.
Nope. The GOP didn’t want a wall and Trump isn’t willing to engage them on it. Maybe he doesn’t want a wall either? The military building the wall was always a fairy tale. The military brass wants nothing to do with political battle over the wall.
Looks like from here on out Trump will hide being some activist Democrat judge from here on out as his excuse for not fighting the battle for a wall.
Mattis is worthless. Just like Kelly, Kirsten open borders Nielsen, McMaster, and all the rest of the moderate non trump supporting dirtbags. And trump wonders why he can’t even get his own appointees to do what he wants!

I am not sure what the problem is here. Taxpayers and citizens not fraud and cheaters.
My guess is that this was the plan all along—to bring it to the point of the government “closing down” or Trump funding it from the military. Certainly he both threatened a shutdown and said he’d fund it legally otherwise at the famous meeting with Chuck and Nancy.
I don’t really see how saying, “No matter, I’ll fund it out of the already funded military instead” is backing down. If anything it is moving the battle to the courts instead.
My guess is POTUS was expecting of his own party to support the GOP party platform. Then they made it clear he was flying solo on the shut down and now Trump kicks the can down the road again. Not good enough.
Surrendering this battle without firing a shot will be his Waterloo. It will depress grassroots support for him and he will never recover. Read my lips...
Correct. The biggest threat to America is legal and illegal immigration which is turning the country into a Latino socialist favoring Democrat majority, just like California.

That is super fine with his base.
(But the way Drudge headlined it, most people, including those posting here, aren’t getting that.)
Found other funds? Like the military, yet forgetting that he signed legislation prohibiting those funds to build the wall? Other funds that a court won’t stop? Seriously, I’ll be happy to see him pull a rabbit out of the hat, but color me skeptical on this one.
Except I don’t trust DOD.
