Has it occurred to you that Drudge did not make the decision to not pursue a government shutdown?

Not sure why some think this is a bad headline. I think it’s wonderful, but I also think having Pelosi as Speaker is a net plus for DJT. Ryan was poisonous to MAGA.

Trump will be considered successful if he gets the wall funding from the defense budget.

Democrats are digging in, not just because of they love illegal votes, but also they know the lack of a wall will be Trump’s “No new taxes” moment.

That’s about to be exactly what it is.

Actually, a WaPo article. Drudge just makes it sound even more anti-Trump.

Look at that headline—it’s not the headline to the actual story, but one made up by Drudge.
And it makes it look like Trump backed down while Congress didn’t.
The real story is that Trump is going to bypass Congress to build the wall—but you would have no idea of that from Drudge.
The WP headline is much more fair and accurate. Let that sink in.

I no longer trust the DOD. Look at Mattis. What a damn disappointment he is.

My happiness or lack thereof isn’t an issue. My disbelief that it would ever happen was and remains correct. This was a BS promise.
As ludicrous as making Mexico pay for it. I’ll eat crow if it happens. But it’s never going to happen.

Democrats? The GOP hates POTUS every bit as much as the Dems do. He’s the first POTUS in American history without the support of his own party.

The WaPo was much more accurate here, including with its headline.
Drudge’s made-up headline completely distorts the story and the actual news from it.
To: Red Badger
Sanders said the White House was exploring other funding sources and believed it could be legally done. There are certainly a number of different funding sources that weve identified that we can use, that we can couple with money that would be given through congressional appropriations that would help us get to that $5 billion that the president needs in order to protect our border, she said.I'll believe it when I see it.
To: Red Badger
Ok, fair enough. If you believe them. I don’t.
To: TangledUpInBlue
So answer the question: are you happy about this?
