From an article in the Washington Post the other day:
Tucker Carlson says Trump is not capable and hasnt kept his promises

Vanity:
"Carlson said he cannot stand Trumps self-aggrandizement and boasting.'

Speaking as one who will vote for and heavily support DJT in the future, one thing must be said.
The President will have a much more difficult time winning a second term if he doesn't make some adjustments that are addressed in the quoted remark above.
His never ending BOASTING is losing him millions of votes.
To quickly change that (loss of votes) is quite simple.
Examples: 1. Instead of saying "I WON this ...." he should always say, WE won this for the country" .... 2. "TOGETHER WE created the strongest economy for our country and its people" etc., etc.

I know that there are many here who respond by saying , "he has to tweet, he has to get his news out, the MSM won't". That is true, let him tweet all he wants, but the problem is simply the wording of the tweets and all his remarks concerning his accomplishments.
He must REMOVE the word "I" when talking about accomplishments. Everyone knows he's the center of the successful achievement.
If his constant boasting bothers even me, I can see how gross it is to those who have doubts about him to begin with.
(Women, as a rule, do not like men who find the need to brag after they have succeeded at something.)
If D.J.T. wants a second term he has to get rid of the word "I", and speak of his accomplishments for the country ...NOT AS "WINS" but as "achievements or successful efforts" for the good people of America.

LOL ...... is that true?
Tucker is a bowtie wearing sissy. He acts like he was raised by lesbians.
________
I hear you.
OAN is great. I especially like 'The Tipping Point' and 'The Daily Ledger' "..... even when I'm wrong I'm right."
;-)
______________
That is so true.
I agree with you and Tucker. I support Trump, but his tweets and bragging are going to cost him votes—lots of votes. I hear it all the time. “Trump is a pompous ass!” Most of us FReepers probably look past Trump’s offputting personality and see his accomplishments, but you have to appeal to more than your base to win elections.
Bottom line: Trump would be wise to listen to Tucker’s advice, but it seems unlikely Trump will.
Tucker aint paying attention. Trump does give credit to the voters and not himself
Tucker is a self confessed libertarian and squishy at that. He hears what he wants to hear
We live in a world where every talking head thinks they are pithy in this bloviating world. Actions are everything. Draining the swamp and building the wall are actions. Putting Clinton,Soros and Obama behind bars and massive immigration and election reform would also be nice. We may not see any of it.
Tucker is just wrong. Trump routinely thanks the voters for what theyve done. Routinely uses we
He’z got this thing.
Carlson has the Trump boasting gene, but not the Trump take-no-prisoners gene.
Next election? Style or Substance?
As long as the media and academia are obsessed with PC,
poking fun at PC is a winning strategy. Style.
Substance? As long as the economy is growing, unemployment is declining, Substance is winning. We Trump supporters are divided on immigration, divided on alleged free trade. But as long as the economy is strong, the divisive issues don’t matter.
Bingo! We have a winner! The wife and daughter told him they are sick of the negative attention so moderate the tone.
Trump is a salesman and the product is Trump.
Make a lot of money and the first thing he buys is DRUGS
“People were different then.”
Yeh, noticed that church is becoming a MUCH less attended place these days...
Thanks aleg, interesting take on it.
I dunno. Once you're **** with the libs, you're always **** with the libs. There is no changing it. At least until you die, as Bush 41 showed.
I'm fine with Trump's judges and tax cuts. It's more than any US president has done for me in 10 years. (Maybe in 30 years.)
And I'm not in one of Hillary's reeducation camps. There is that, too.
If President Trump didn’t tell us about his accomplishments and remind people of what he was up against and how long it’s been since things were this good re employment and recovering manufacturing sector the MSM would have us believing he’s a failure. Tucker is buying in to all that by diminishing POTUS accomplishments.
Just like the never Trump brigade Tucker is placing his ego above the good of the American people. Frankly his sanctimoniousness disgusts me. He clearly thinks he is the brightest light in the room, his lack of bragging doesn’t disguise his ego one bit.
President Trump is indeed taking all the slings and arrows for us & for America. I am dead sick of all the people that think it’s unseemly for the President to say he accomplished these things and no one else did. He’s right and false modesty wins no battles.
POTUS has not only won the right to boast a bit it’s a necessity top combat the constant rain of negativity. The President loses no chance to share the credit & praise others for their accomplishments.
All those who sit back in their armchair and clutch their pearls about being boastful wouldn’t last a minute against America’s internal enemies nor would the polite, restrained champion they are wishing for.
You have to live in reality, not what should be or you go gently, with approved upper class manners, into oblivion.
Because he ran against the terminally unlikeable and corrupt Felonia Von Pantsuit.
