Donald Trump continues to suffer from upside-down job ratings as his second year as president winds down. In addition, views of the economy remain divided, voters feel the administrations economic policies have not helped them -- and fewer are optimistic about future economic conditions than two years ago, according to the latest Fox News poll.
Forty-five percent of voters think the economy will be in better shape a year from now, down from 56 percent who felt that way in December 2016. Although the question has been asked at irregular intervals on the Fox News poll over the past 20 years, this is the most pessimistic outlook since February 2001.

Absolutely and Democrat cheating.
What this means: 53% of the older, urban Democrat ladies who actually answer the phone and take the poll hate Trump because their TV told them to.
Doesn’t excuse the dumb ass GOP voters who voted for Trump in 2016
GOP should have also picked up 7 or 8 senate seats in states Trump carried
Probably, the only people who answer such poll calls are older Baby Boomer and Silent Generation women, who have nobody else to talk to, and who watch CNN all day long and have been taught to hate Trump.
Not to mention 45 “retirements” - all Republicans, which opened up a lot of seats. My spidey sense tells me that someone “encouraged” those members to retire. I just wonder what they had on them and why no Democrats.
The huge crowds that Trump drew everywhere he campaigned should have carried all those House seats. I still contend it was voter fraud.
No one showed up for the RAT campaign events including the ones the Zero attended! Zilch, Nada!
Just my opinion, but, look no further than spineless, gutless Paul Ryan and his hidden agenda. As they always say when it comes to politicians, follow the money. And, certainly, follow the $$$ when it comes to Democrats and their sugar daddy, Soros.
...and Sabato is a Trump hater. So the real number is probably +15. ;-)
In a reasonably stable economy, it ought to be true that 50% would say better, and 50% worse. I don’t think that 46% is at all significant, it simply says that people expect this good economy to continue.
Don’t forget, it’s both fake polls and fake ballots. How in the living hell can we trust the results of elections?
It’s worth pointing out that mass incarcerations will rid us of the ballot thieves and restore our faith in the elections.
If you state with such an air of certainty that the polls and ballots are not fake, you’ve got a long way to go.
