The Boy Scouts of America is mulling declaring bankruptcy amid flagging membership and an avalanche of costly sex abuse allegations, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Leaders have hired Chicago law firm Sidley Austin for help in a potential Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, sources told the outlet.
The organization has been fending off lawsuits over alleged abuse, including one filed by four former scouts who called the club a “pedophile magnet” and alleged that they were molested by scoutmaster Waldron Ackerman between 1974 and 1976.
The organization has reportedly lost two-thirds of its members — some 4 million boys — since the 1970s.

A girl we know was heavily recruiting my daughter for her troop. Which one? The local Boy Scout Troop XXX-G. The G being the girls’ troop they’re trying to set up.
I asked about the rules, since she’d a teen. They’ve apparently extended the time you have to earn Eagle to essentially age 20 if you’re signing up at 15-17. And they are actively recruiting boys and girls 15-17 to try to add more paying members.
Not what it was. It committed suicide.
I gave up on it ages ago when my son and confessed to each other we were staying for each other. We had a much better time together.
Marxist is a convenient catch-all phrase, but IMO the global elites simply pay lip service to any "ism". What they seek is ultimate power & control, and they will leverage true believers aka useful idiots, if it helps achieve their objective(s).
As far as tearing down institutions, including any elements that encourage self reliance, discipline, family order, moral behavior, etc, these of course are all fair game.
Ultimately, however, my primary interest is: why? What are their motivations? Power simply for power's sake; or perhaps a more noble foundation? If one chooses power, then you're sort of boxed in with a satanic perspective ie pure evil. But what about population explosion and resource exhaustion? This fits with a program of weaning advanced societies off of the massive natural resource consumption curve.
Either way, I actually feel the globalists jumped the gun a little bit too early. The BSA doesn't represent anything that can't be easily replicated, especially on a regional/local scale. Family support is still the keystone to society's foundations - according to reports, Gen Z are more conservative than millenials.
I spent many years in the BSA. As a Scout in the 40’s and making Eagle. Then I served in various leadership positions including Scoutmaster in several locations. It is the best and most effective organization for teaching boys self-sufficiency and responsibility ever devised. It is a crying shame that modern leadership ruined the program by pursuing liberal social programs. May God have mercy on their souls.
They are winning every day aren’t they? They are destroying every traditional value of this country and it doesn’t look like they will be stopped.
Get woke. Go broke.
And the news will never even hint at the real reason for them filing bankruptcy.

We have an important duty, and an incredible opportunity, to focus as an organization on keeping children safe, supported and protected, and preparing youth for their futures through our nation’s foremost program of character development and values-based leadership training.
To do so in perpetuity, we are working with experts to explore all options available to ensure that the local and national programming of the Boy Scout of America continues uninterrupted. We have a social and moral responsibility to fairly compensate victims who suffered abuse during their time in Scouting, and we also have an obligation to carry out our mission to serve youth, families and local communities through our programs.
We care deeply about all victims of child sex abuse and we are steadfast in our belief that one incident of child abuse is one too many. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was harmed during their time in our programs. As you all know, we have always taken care of victims – we believe them, we believe in fairly compensating them and we have paid for unlimited counseling, by a provider of their choice, regardless of the amount of time that has passed since an instance of abuse. Throughout our history we have taken proactive steps to help victims heal and prevent future abuse. I want to stress that at no time in our history have we knowingly allowed a sexual predator to work with youth, and we always seek to act swiftly when alerted to abuse allegations.
Please know that these matters continue to have the full attention of the highest levels of our organization, and we will communicate transparently as there are developments or updates to share. I wanted to update you today due to the news speculation, and I want to assure you that our daily mission will continue and that there are no imminent actions or immediate decisions expected.

Scouting was a big part of my youth in the 60s :-(
It is, however, concrete proof that the faggot agenda is NOT as popular as they would have Americans believe.
