Italy Did? Thats surprising. The agreement failed to make it through their Parliament...same thing is true in Switzerland, Slovenia, and Estonia. An effective NO, if not an explicit one.

Setting aside the constitutionality, dividing the United States would be a horrible idea. The two (or more) smaller nations would instantly have less clout in negotiating trade or security agreements with other countries. The divide in regional differences would accelerate. Two or three nations might become four or five. The political, demographic, and cultural hurdles to further leftists dogma would be reduced. Insanity!
