James Alex Fields Jr. was found guilty on Friday of killing Heather Heyer when he plowed his car into a group of counterprotesters last year at a "Unite the Right" rally that quickly turned violent in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Fields, 21, was convicted on all counts, including first-degree murder in connection to Heyer's death and five counts of aggravated malicious wounding, three counts of malicious wounding and one hit and run count for injuring dozens of others with his vehicle.

picture post was not a view of Fields guilt or innocence, but the ridiculous liberal babysitting and soft pedaling everything to do with these poor poor illegal aliens and how picked on they are so they go 100% overboard kissing their illegal aszes.
At this point in time a Federal Trial would just be a Banana Republic show Trial.
I would expect it of former AG Eric Holder or the Moronic Woman who replaced him, but it is just a waste of Money, Resources and Time.
Right on target and perfectly put. You just nailed the bigger picture.
Two lives ruined — ultimately both victims of the left — and the left loves it because it moves their agenda forward.
Suppose we stipulate that he is a "racist" (a 20th century neologism in search of a falsifiable definition).
Suppose we further stipulate that he is a white supremacist. Let's even throw in that he is a "Nazi".
If all those things are true, are you willing to execute him even if he is innocent?
That he is a Nazi is not open to debate. He openly self identifies as such. Nazis are enemies of the United States and everything we as a country stand for. He should be shot or hanged on that basis alone.
I think you need to tell that to the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia, Thomas T. Cullen.
Fields could get the death penalty from the federal trial. As of now there’s been no announcement to cancel the federal trial.
It is a mess, that is for sure.
After reading Alinsky (who did, after all, have a acknowledgement to Satan in the book) it is hard not to see his followers as doing the work of the Devil in a fashion that the Devil would do it.
Sow discord.
Hate.
Envy.
Remove morality.
Pit people against people.
Class against class.
Race against race.
For them, Alinsky is a procedure manual.
His paycheck still comes from the soetoro / soros cabal signed by Valerie Jarret aka The Lizard Queen.
Agreed. I wanted to hear Fields try to explain in plain English why he did what he did. If he went to the rally intending to kill people, and if that was the motive behind his appalling driving, then the verdict is exactly what he deserves. If not, then perhaps he deserved leniency.
I don't know where to look for objective analysis of the trial, or even objective reporting of the events that led to the trial. I do know that I cannot rely on the MSM for objective coverage.
I posted that article. Still don't know if he was the same Kessler as the CNN guy.
In any case, here's something I later compiled and posted around that time...
Here are some things I've complied regarding the organizer of that highly suspicious "Unite The Right" rally in Charolettesville several weeks ago, Jason Kessler. I suspect Kessler was/is a leftist plant. Put there for the sole purpose of launching a fullout communist revolution, disguised as a race war.
Because, just up until fairly recently, he was a solid supporter of today's hard left democrat party and of major left-wing positions. He was big time for Obama and then Secretary of State, John 'Fonda' Kerry. Strongly in favor of gun control, pro (anti-Capitalist) Occupy Wall Street. And here below, an obvious environmentalist-wacko, hoping for major catastrophes to help reduce the human population and "save the planet".

Here's a different kind of question I've often had about large scale tragedies like natural disasters, diseases & gun violence:
We get so caught up in the emotion of the violence that we don't consider the long-term, historical consequences. To put it bluntly: the planet is overpopulated already. Maybe we shouldn't try to cure every disease, we shouldn't confiscate all the harmful drugs, etc.
Perhaps we'd be happier if we made peace with the fact that rabid animals are going to dwindle the herd from time to time (as they have in much greater volume throughout history) & that's not really a bad thing in the long run.
Should we try to stop as many large scale attacks as possible? Of course... but I don't think the zeitgeist should have an aneurysm every time one occurs either.
I think we be served to draw some historical perspective on how difficult the human condition has always been & how that is something of a blessing in disguise.
Take for instance how valuable the conquerors throughout history, as bloody & awful as they were during their reigns, have been to population control.
We think the planet is overpopulated now: the environment sick, the resources dwindling; where in the world [would] we be without Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Julius Caesar or for that matter the bubonic plague, cancer & AIDS?
Here's an article on the beneficial impact Genghis Khan's conquests had on the environment & sustainability, for example.
There are already 7.125 BILLION people on Planet Earth.
Try to extrapolate out how many people would be here now if EVERYONE had survived & had kids, which seems to be the ultimate aim of modern society... a right if you will... to defy the boundaries of nature.
It'd be one hell of a dystopian nightmare that's for sure.

Here below, Kessler, standing up for gays and women, punches an apparent objector and is arrested and convicted on assault charges.

Jason Kessler outside Charlottesville General District Court
Jason Kessler, a local Charlottesville area blogger, appeared in the Charlottesville General District Court Monday to be sentenced on a charge of misdemeanor assault.
The judge ordered Kessler to complete 50 hours of community service in the next six months. The blogger is also not allowed to contact the plaintiff, Jay Taylor.
The charge results from an incident that occurred on the Downtown Mall in January. Kessler was collecting signatures for a petition to have Charlottesville Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy removed from office in response to several tweets on Bellamy's Twitter account over a five year period between 2009 and 2014 that included gay slurs, profanity and lewd comments about women.
Crozet resident Jay Taylor claimed when he approached Kessler about the petition, Kessler responding by punching him in the face.
Taylor pursued assault charges, and in April, Kessler pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. Kessler initially claimed Taylor had also assaulted him, but dropped the charge he had filed against Taylor when video surveillance disproved Kessler's version of events.
Kessler filed a petition in February to remove Bellamy from City Council, but was ultimately unsuccessful. A prosecutor found that the petition did not have enough signatures, prompting the court to dismiss it March 8.

Next, from the far left Southern Poverty Law Center...
At one recent speech in favor of Charlottesvilles status as a sanctuary city, Kessler live-streamed himself as an attendee questioned him and apologized for an undisclosed spat during Kesslers apparent involvement with Occupy. Kessler appeared visibly perturbed by the womans presence and reminders of their past association.
A journalist, activist and author from Charlottesville, VA, Kesslers LinkedIn account states that he graduated of the University of Virginia in 2009. He was virtually unknown in the media prior to his crusade against Charlottesville Vice Mayor and City Councilman Wes Bellamy.

Yep, exactly. What’s tragic is that the left thinks they’re doing good in all of this. I mean they truly believe they’re on the right side of history.
Yep, agreed. What you said pretty much sums up my thinking on this as well.
Heck, you and I both believe that we are on the right side of this, but we have history and principles to go on. They base it on their dogma which does not allow dissent.
The President can't pardon state-court convictions.
