James Alex Fields Jr. was found guilty on Friday of killing Heather Heyer when he plowed his car into a group of counterprotesters last year at a "Unite the Right" rally that quickly turned violent in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Fields, 21, was convicted on all counts, including first-degree murder in connection to Heyer's death and five counts of aggravated malicious wounding, three counts of malicious wounding and one hit and run count for injuring dozens of others with his vehicle.

No. His car was hit by a baton and he sped up into the carin front of him... then he backed out.... not intending to run over anyone
I thought I saw collision damage to his vehicle - must have been another car.
He is going to appeal, is he not?
Wasn’t he accidentally in the riot area?
That will be a decision for our new Attorney General that President Trump nominated today. As of now there will be a second federal trial.
I don’t know if the jury got it right, but I definitely know the leftists there that day are the greater threat to more people than the supposed “white nationalists”.
You mean our George Zimmerman I believe.
I may lose friends for saying this, but James Alex Fields killed Heather Heyer. When he talked about going to Charlottesville, before the rally, he posted instagram images of people being hit by cars. And sent a message to his mother saying “we’re not the ones who need to be careful,” with an image of — yeah — Hitler. This jury did not have an agenda. They are putting a killer away where he won’t be able to kill anybody else. Just because Fields stands in a general way on the same side of the political equation that we do does not give him a license to kill and I think that anybody in this forum who looks at what the jury looked at would agree.
The 9th Circuit Court proves otherwise.
I would hope his appeal would be with another lawyer...
It is a travesty media driven law system
Aaron Kessler.
The heart attack was induced by the attack with the car. It is common to rule in favor of murder when any deliberate act of violence causes death, even through secondary events. For example, assume the car merely crashed into a street sign, which in turn deeply sliced somebody’s head. Could that be an accident if the original attempt was murder and mayhem?
So, the question is was he fleeing the people beating on his car, or was he really trying to hurt people? His social media post was intemporate, but did he really go there to hurt people? I wouldve asked for a change of venue to be As sure as possible of getting a fair jury.
Found it. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3577654/posts?q=1&;page=1
Jason Kessler. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3577654/posts?page=51
And it looks like the “Left” was trolling Free Republic after Dinesh D Souza tweeted a photo of Jason Kessler...
Tried to dismiss it as fake news... but strangely...
Kessler looks a lot like the guy who was put in jail.
Did they photoshop some hair on him and a beard or something?
What a stupid hoax. Is any of this reportage real?
Where are the FReepers who outed Kessler as being a CNN Obama plant at Charlottesville?
Hoax upon hoax.
Wow, just saw that the original “Nation One News” article linked on FR on August 8 2017 was taken down... it identified Jason Kessler.
What is going on here? This guy was a crisis actor.

This is the FReeper article that I first saw exposing Charlottesville as being a hoax
Yes, you have a point there
I tend toward your viewpoint. Only tend because we did not see all the facts. After all took the jury 7 hours. But your view is rational.
“White Nationalist”. No media bias there.
