A Virginia high school teacher was fired Thursday for refusing to use a transgender student’s new pronouns, a case believed to be the first of its kind in the state.
After a four-hour hearing, the West Point School Board voted 5-0 to terminate Peter Vlaming, a French teacher at West Point High School who resisted administrators’ orders to use male pronouns to refer to a ninth-grade student who had undergone a gender transition. The board met in closed session for nearly an hour before the vote.
Like a similar transgender rights case in nearby Gloucester County that eventually reached the U.S. Supreme Court, Vlaming’s situation could present a novel legal case as public bodies continue to grapple with how to reconcile anti-discrimination policies with the rights of religious employees.

Where are the parents of that school rising up, not in protest, but in rebellion; demanding the removal of the school administration for this madness? the prosecutors’ case will fall apart in court when the DNA evidence is presented. The teacher is right.
If these cases continue to grow in number, I wonder how long it will be before Amazon's Alexa, Google's assistant, and Apple's Siri become full-time employees of the Leftist government hate speech enforcers. That is, if they aren't that already.

That’s funny. A French teacher. French is completely based on things being male or female. You can’t have the language without the basis of there being two genders and it’s a no no to mix them up.
I shall identify as the valedictorian and anything less than an A is discriminatory. Nonconforming teachers must be fired.
Every student who supports this teacher should go into school and make demands to be addressed by teachers/administrators as something other than what they are. Change it up the next day and the day after that. They have what, like 50 genders to choose from now ? Create chaos to illustrate how poorly thought out it policy is.
So who’s still glad that the government “got out of our bedrooms” and legalized gaydom?
Also note how “progressives” made sure to get that legalization before moving on to the marriage bit.
