I already go out of my way to buy non-alcoholic gas.
Food to fuel is just wrong, especially when fachist government driven.
I only buy real gas.
We want corn poop...not corn propellants
Oddly enough, pure gasoline [87 Octane] is readily available in Iowa at Casey’s General Stores.
Nothing mandatory about using E10 or E15. Only 1400 gas stations across the country have E15.
From Reuters, July 2012 “The Air Force bought 11,000 gallons of alcohol-to-jet fuel from Gevo Inc, a Colorado biofuels company, at $59 a gallon in a program aimed at proving that new alternative fuels can be used reliably ...”
I wonder if buys like this will be considered in the total number of gallons that need to be produced.

Grrrrr! CornFlakes anyone? If it smelled like pop corn coming out of the exhaust pipe I might be able to let it slide. Nah! BigAg wins again. Bigcorn, bumpstocks, border wall.............
You neglected to mention the ‘hemp’ angle. BigAg will amass a fortune greater than BigPharma on that scam!
Seriously? Not one word in comments about Trump’s role in this. Is anybody else getting tired of this “4D chess”, “Trust the Plan” bullshit? Two years in we lost the House, no wall, the Fed is screwing us over, not one of the seditious members of the deep state has been charged and so on. Just call me Charlie Brown.
The Trump tariffs have already hurt a lot of farmers.
Taking the RFS out would turn a lot of the midwest blue.
Crony capitalism is the American name for fascism.
B&S and other small engine manufacturers warn users of equipment with their engines not to use ethanol blends in their engines.
Too many Corn Sucking farmers with their K Street Lobbyist to make ethanol go away.
Only ethanol free in my vehicles. My 2015 F150 often breaks 32 MPG on a fresh tank from Pocatello to Idaho Falls at 55 MPH max. Doing 80 MPH on I-15 drops to 21 MPG.
All the motorcycles get ethanol free.
I guess the question is...is there a plan to wean the corn growers off the ethanol jag over time and put them back to producing food? Hate ethanol in gas as much as anyone, but also don’t want Trump doing to the farmers what Obama was doing to coal miners.
