The day after the midterms, Trump tried to paint a rosy picture of the Dem majority in the House, saying he was eager to work with likely Speaker Nancy Pelosi and would sign key legislation even if most Republicans opposed it.
Now his message is far more stick than carrot. As he said in our interview, the new Dem leaders would be unleashing the furies from hell if they engage in presidential harassment.
I will hit them so hard, theyve never seen a hit like that, he said, referring to his power to release secret documents, some of which, he hinted, will be deeply embarrassing to Barack Obamas administration.
If they want to play tough, I will do it, he said. And they will see how devastating those pages are.
I believe the president should release any such documents now, regardless of their partisan impact. Excessive secrecy serves only to hide official wrongdoing and the lack of transparency fuels public mistrust.
In theory, Trump agrees. But he is fixated on the war, and understandably so because he is fighting for the survival of his presidency.

The information in those FISA documents is a powerful weapon at President Trump's disposal.
He probably made the very prudent decision that it would be foolhardy to use it just to get Kevin McCarthy as the House Speaker instead of Nancy Pelosi. That would be the equivalent of sending an aircraft carrier group to deal with a boat full of Somali pirates.
Because it takes time to gather enough evidence to convict many people of sedition and treason. That’s why and that is main reason. Think carefully on this.
IMO, that would be unwise. From a balance of power perspective Trump is getting things done in the face of two powerful opponents, the Rinos (it is a finite game, if you are not with me, your are against me) and those anti-Americans in the D party with its 24/7 MSM and most of the entertainment world.
Trump may have identified other capable enemies that are not apparent to us; while it appears he has the means to launch a solid counter-attack, if he launches the first strike he may not survive a counter-attack. Trump needs to be very careful when he makes what may be his most powerful move.
He is fighting for survival
Of course he is! The dems will have dozens of candidates for the next presidential campaign, they will suck voters out of the far corners of our nation and each of those voters will likely vote dem in the end. Who are the viable R candidates after Pence?
If anyone gets “Imprimis” from Hillsdale College, there’s a great article in the current issue about cold war and the possibility of a “hot war”.
I see your point about the FISA warrants but I don’t think it would work like that with all the terrorists, etc. I do think they would have standing to apply for release but in a just system that would be denied if other proof is available even if they were able to prove reasonable doubt on the warrant being obtained for just cause.
I’m not an attorney but I think you’re talking about the “fruit from a poisonous tree” as they call it. Without the FISA warrant, which you’re saying would be suspect or tainted, then all evidence stemming from it would be thrown out.
Wouldn’t it first have to be shown the warrant was gotten illegally or without sufficient cause?
No he has not waited too long and the system is too corrupt to indict, try and punish these traitors in the civilian judicial system. We are where we have to be now to engage the enemy with the full gamete of the system to do it legally and Constitutionally.
It is excellent. I have it.
Excellent points. Once that bell is rung, there’s no unringing it. Lots of billable hours and “justice for all” on the six o’clock news to be had for such cases.
Trump wants to save some of those documents and release them during his 2020 election campaign.
You are probably right. There was no reason why Trump did not take the offensive the day he took office. He was aware of a plot at the highest levels to satotage his campaign and to prevent him from taking office after he was duly elected. As a veteran of the Real estate/Construction business in New York City, he knows better that anyone that you don’t survive by being diffident. You either move quickly or you die. Sorry but while it is common sentiment (and probably true) that people like Sessions, Comey, Roberts and others are controlled by people who are aware of their skeletons, Trump may have something very dire in his past beyond what has been revealed and currently known, that is holding him in check. Still your point is well taken. After two years of constant abuse, and the fact that he is in fact the President of the United States with all its power, he may be ready to strike back hard and let come what may.
The same old crew of professional Republicans...
Your #18 says it nicely. I would add, "or even understanding what is happening today"
I’m not so sure that releasing the documents pre-midterms would have helped very much with the elections. The Dems with their MSM mouthpiece would have done everything possible to discredit the information as a political ploy.
I think he held off for two main reasons. One, I think he may be using what is in them to rein in Rosenstein without having to endure the storm that firing him would cause before Heir Mueller releases his hit job. Which brings us to the second, most important reason. He plans on using that and other classified information to discredit the impeachment report that Mueller is sure to hand over to Nancy and company and turn the tables in an epic political fight to be waged over the next year.
“We know we have to save America from the left because they hate us and want us dead.”
The true issue is “Who actually NEEDS to die?” or “Whose death is necessarily WARRANTED?” per the Invisible God? If we knew, would we DO IT? I have my doubts. King Saul was clearly instructedat a time when the LORD spoke directly/through prophets to his servantsto wipe out an enemy people and he disobeyed.
There are evil people in and out of our government who We the People should probably put to death by EXECUTION. We dont have clear instruction from God to do it, so were even more likely to hedge. We cannot “save America” without a sobering dispatch of our internal foes. Each and every true foe must be marched, blubbering and bawling as did the Ceaucescus, to the firing squad (staffed by We the People).
The Lord Jesus Christ prophesied to his disciples that a time would come when men would kill them and imagine they were serving God in the process. The prophecy was FULFILLED and is still being fulfilled as we approach the bitter end of His adversaries.
The only killers who are “right” to kill are those favored by GOD in His will. The rest he will “burn up with unquenchable fire” when the hammer He has stayed for so long DROPS. Well find out whose killin’ was approved and whose wasnt.
<><> $17M tax dollars (that we know of) to silence victims of sexual harassment by members of Congress.
<><> the $6 billion missing from the State Dept when Hillary left.

<><> the wasted millions and missing govt-issue tech equipment WRT the Paki IT spy case.

And so on and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.

Thanks... I subscribed. It’s good and it’s free.
Release the docs!
ANYONE . .. ANYONE who has even remotely been put behind bars due to any FISA surveillance or even the possibility of FISA surveillance will be immediately subject to release. There will be an army of lawyers lined up for every single Gitmo terrorist, every IRA bomber, every drug lord, and most if not all will be on the streets in 48 hours.

This is flat out wrong. FISAs are never used as evidence in criminal court. THe standard to get a FISA is very different than to get a search warrant or regular criminal wiretap, therefore they are inadmissible. You are misinformed from somewhere/someone.
Now, why would that be? Simple, other than sunlight, earth is a closed system. As such, it is subject to resource exhaustion, environmental degradation and overpopulation. In a world shaped by scarce resources, competition over the rights of access, use and enjoyment create wars and other conflicts. Before the advent of nuclear weapons, nations needed unified, cohesive societies in order to field large armies and manage massive materiel production.
After WWII, the global elite recognized three problems: nuclear weapons made 1st world war so destructive as to be essentially obsolete. They also didn't need incredibly over-scaled production operations, especially in light of declining readily available natural resources. And lastly, what to do with populations of people who were promised certain rewards, and developed very high expectations about economic prospects regarding standards of living?
The solution, as we've all seen over the years, was to de-industrialize the west by moving production offshore to China and other 3rd world countries. Secondly, rather than deal with and attempt to appease those citizens who had put their heart and soul into believing the stories they were told, they decided it was much easier to just replace then with substitute peoples much, much easier to manage and control.
That, in essence is the globalist agenda: control the world's mass of people in an environment of (greatly) reduced economic standards of living. A key component was to get rid of anyone, any culture, that holds any institutional memory of how "things used to be". And, so here we are - a world-wide strategy agreed to by the leaders, political parties and commercial industries of every developed country.
So too Trump - after all, globalism make perfect rationale sense. Anyone who knows what's occurring can certainly agree with the basic premise. However, what if Trump deferred to that sensibility by realizing there could be one last hurrah by appealing to those targeted for replacement? This would explain a lot of the action of the deep state - in a sense, Trump violated his honor and trust by turning on the globalist ideal in order to satisfy his own ego.
As for me, while I agree with everything I wrote above, I still believe open markets and free will can develop the solutions necessary to meet the formidable challenges. I'm not so pessimistic as to embrace the notion that the world can only survive by re-embracing a feudalistic society. I was hoping Trump was the guy to re-assert the alternative to what is planned for all.
