The day after the midterms, Trump tried to paint a rosy picture of the Dem majority in the House, saying he was eager to work with likely Speaker Nancy Pelosi and would sign key legislation even if most Republicans opposed it.
Now his message is far more stick than carrot. As he said in our interview, the new Dem leaders would be unleashing the furies from hell if they engage in “presidential harassment.”
“I will hit them so hard, they’ve never seen a hit like that,” he said, referring to his power to release secret documents, some of which, he hinted, will be deeply embarrassing to Barack Obama’s administration.
“If they want to play tough, I will do it,” he said. “And they will see how devastating those pages are.”
I believe the president should release any such documents now, regardless of their partisan impact. Excessive secrecy serves only to hide official wrongdoing and the lack of transparency fuels public mistrust.
In theory, Trump agrees. But he is fixated on the war, and understandably so because he is fighting for the survival of his presidency.

I must agree. Late September would have been better. The rats to stole 20+ house seats 2 Senate seats a Governor and many important down ballot offices. Now Mueller and Rosenweasel have the House to come at Trumps flank.
Everyone needs to be clear on what “releasing the docs” will mean-—because you’ll be the first ones whining when he does it:
ANYONE . .. ANYONE who has even remotely been put behind bars due to any FISA surveillance or even the possibility of FISA surveillance will be immediately subject to release. There will be an army of lawyers lined up for every single Gitmo terrorist, every IRA bomber, every drug lord, and most if not all will be on the streets in 48 hours.
Once it is learned publicly that the FISA system was tampered with, we cannot hold one single terrorist, anywhere.
Just be ready for that. Then, DemoKKKrats and many Republicans WOULD have an impeachment case against Trump for letting them out.
A secondary fallout will be the temporary destruction of alliances with GB and Australia. The former is not such a big deal right now, but we seriously need Australia to keep China in check, and the Aussies have been working with us to hedge in the ChiCom military bases in SE Asia. This too will be viewed as a genuine impeachable offense.
I’m not saying the senate would find the votes, but I am saying that unlike “muh Russia,” there are real world consequences that people like Burrito, and Mel Tillis, and Alexander and Gardner and Tom Collins and MurCowSki and even Jodi Ernst would likely be very troubled by.

Spot on! The enemy of America are the Cultural Marxists who think the way to win the game is to divide and conquer. For them, the ends justifies the means as they play one faction against the other. They are pushing America into a suicide mission and when it is all done, they will take over. The Heaven’s Gate is their blueprint for America.

The 17th Amendment was the republic killer.
Releasing them now would be pretty damn foolish. Better to release them in September 2020 when the impact of their release will be most devastating.
as long as we hold Judeo christian values dear and protect Israel, I believe God will hold us together, but one should know America does not represent the way of the infinite King Jesus, and will be dismantled in His rule as the earth returns to Eden..But he tells me by the bravery of those who seek justice and a better life, even though the lessor of evils it will fall because the world today does not represent His way, but he sees the sacrifice of his people and has rewarded us for it by the country we have had so far..to spread Christianity the only real path to God, ordained by God..

I think the president knows exactly what he (one soldier) has to do against a massive and unrelenting army of opposition.
The essential issue is this: was Trump serious about draining the swamp, or was he leveraging popular sentiment in order to win the presidential election?
There are many supporters who believe Trump is executing a carefully thought out strategy. I myself have long stated Trump holds every possible card there is to possess.
So, why doesn't he act? Which begs the original question - did the deep state miscalculate his intentions? That is, did they overreact by assuming an aggressive defense mode mode to prevent his ascension? If we wasn't serious - hey, just kidding guys - then he really brought on a world of hurt to himself.
The other issue is assuming for the moment Trump wasn't serious, would 2 years in the job amid constant harassment change a person's outlook, and essentially force them to pursue action, even though they weren't initially interested?
Alot more than political he is preparing for.
Trump has it all and they know it.
I predict he will get more done with Dems in the House who know he will use it than he did wit Ryan et al who thought he was bluffing.
