The growing drugs crisis sweeping across the US is deadlier than gun violence, car crashes or Aids, none of which have killed as many Americans in a single year as overdoses did in 2017.
Newly confirmed figures released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show the increasing scale of the crisis.
The drugs epidemic is not confined to a small number of states nor to lower-income areas, but instead has spread across the whole country. While there are concentrations around the midwest, and regional differences in the type of substance, overdose deaths are happening everywhere.
The US medical sector ranks second in the world for opioid use

The main reason is because the Mob and squishy RINOs are keeping the opioid superhighway from Mexico wide open.
Because we now have a society where when you don't like the way you feel YOU TAKE SOMETHING.
The US medical sector ranks second in the world for opioid use
Calling again for ‘Captain Obvious’. Way to many prescriptions for drugs in general.
At my place of employment, we do a drug screen for new hires. About 20% fail initially because of prescription drugs, usually painkilllers. As a side note, two of our employees, both on opiods for back pain committed suicide in the last two years.
Shaking out the weak hands.
maybe docs against glocks should refocus their concerns on their own profession since medical errors cause 251,000 deaths a year, nearly four times the gun-death rate and five times opioid ODs:
Fentanyl. It is said that it doesnt take much to kill.
Fentanyl’s role to opioid-related deaths soared by 548 per cent between 2006 and 2015 and is now the most common cause of lethal overdoses among this class of powerful painkillers.
Well, they would probably say that, unlike firearms, they(docs) are not designed to kill and maim. Even though they do so.
They are dying more often because dosing is harder to control due to the potency and variability of fentanyl-laced drugs. And then there’s carfentanyl... the elephant tranquilizer. Unbelievably potent compared to traditional opiates.
Time to pull out of AG, nuke it flat and guard our OWN borders!
Certainly a true statement, but I submit that the most recent rash of overdoses has been because our WTO trading partners, you know, the Communist Chinese are intentionally (perhaps state sponsored) flooding our society with cheap, very potent Fentanyl.
Mexican heroin has flooded across our Southern border for decades. Most addicts get a feel for the dosage they are able to tolerate. With Fentanyl...they do not, thus sending them into overdose.
It is really that simple. Now the all knowing, all seeing, all powerful gubbamint declares a national emergency opiod crisis, then cut availability to folks like my F-n-law and dad who suffer from chronic pain.
Sad, predictable knee jerk government reaction.
So, it’s not TDS causing it?
Why does an extremely liberal British newspaper care about drug deaths in the US?
The CIA has always funded themselves in the illegal; drug trade. It’s a money maker for them. Always has been always will be.
Also once you try fentanyl cut heroin, supposedly non-fentanyl cut heroin won’t cut it for you. So you have to go back to the dealers that use fentanyl. So I imagine pretty much all the dealers have to go with fentanyl once one does.
Freegards
Thats correct. The Cartels are deep into American politics. Those politicians that advocate against a border wall are being supported by the the drug cartels.
Opioids won't fix your problem, but at least you won't complain about it.
Now they’re determined that Fentanyl is a gateway drug to marijuana.
They got hooked on opiates legally thanks to easy prescription policies, then the supply disappeared when the government realized how many people were hooked, and then the addicts had to rely on heroin and fentanyl to feed their jones, and then they started dying in droves.
What do you want them to do, report on muslim violence?
