Some of the “tear gas” canisters looked like they were just smoke bombs planted by the invaders to make it look good for the cameras. Most tear gas I have ever seen is an enveloping cloud.

She's an illegal alien, not an "immigrant mom". Immigrants apply for US entry at consulates in their home country, or at US ports of entry. If she actually entered the US legally, her children should be immediately taken into the custody of Child Protective Services. That's what would happen to a US citizen parent who used their children as human shields.
