Democrat Kamala Harris could be kicked off the Senate Judiciary Committee as Senate Republicans consider reducing the size of the 21-member committee ahead of the transition to the new Congress.
Harris could be booted because the first-term senator is the Senate Judiciary Committee’s most junior member, Fox News reported. Predictably, Harris is fighting the move because it provides a high-profile stage for her showboating antics ahead of her rumored 2020 presidential run.
Democrats are negotiating with Republicans to keep the committee at 21 members, or are trying to convince a more-senior Democrat to step down so Harris could take their place.
Naturally, Democrats played the Race Card in a bid to keep Harris’ seat. Brian Fallon — the former press secretary for Hillary Clinton’s disastrous 2016 presidential campaign — puffed:

Natural born citizens are naturally US citizens because they cannot be anything else and have only ONE nationality.

How has that worked so far? We now have a congress chock full of ding bats on both sides of the aisle. We need intelligent patriots not Rio Linda drop outs.

She wanted to be so firm and controlling. He should have toyed with her. “I don’t know, Senator. (heavy breathing) What did you have in mind?”
Democrats don't have control of the senate, only the house. As such Democrats won't be able to change it back until they recapture the Senate. At which time they can change it back to 21 or even to 100 if they desired to put every whachadoodle democrat on the committee so they can all grandstand.
Expect the House to go with 9 Democrats and 1 Republican on each committee and try to equate the moves.
If they remove her, the Dems will cry ‘Racism!’ and loose the Dogs of Mediots!....................
Dems are playing this up to look like they’re doing something for the minorities on the plantation... they aren’t- whatever happens.
Interesting story about Senate Committees will be whether Never-Trumpers are weakened by addition of good people on the Committees.
Mitt better not get a key seat!
