Caravan migrants are telling reporters that as their numbers reach 20,000, they plan to invade the United States using the highway at San Ysidro, and they will challenge US control over their border. They say they have NO PLANS to apply for asylum and will knowingly and willfully break US law in order to enter the country, whether we like it or not. There could be a major fly in the ointment. The new president of Mexico takes over very soon and he seems to want to have an improved relationship with the United States. Andrés Manuel López Obrador has already signaled his approval of keeping the caravans in Mexico as they wait for the asylum process.

Marco Gómez, 26, is a construction worker from Honduras who is currently marching with the caravan. According to the Epoch Times, he was with a larger group of migrants who were discussing how they want to "send a message" to President Donald Trump to "open the gates."
"We'll stay together and be strong, and then move on to the U.S.," he said. "Peacefully, like people going from one country to another. Marching." Gómez and several others told the Epoch Times that they plan to enter illegally and are unlikely to apply for asylum.
In a video posted by Pueblo Sin Fronteras, one of the organizations assisting the caravan, a leader is heard saying that there will be an attempt to cross the US border on Sunday, November 25.
"The best day to go to the bridge—peacefully, not with violence—is on Sunday. And write banners with our points — and we don't want the media to publish this before we do it," the leader is heard saying

Who doesn’t want to hire people (occupiers/invaders to build stuff, watch our children and elderly that don’t follow the rules/laws?

The Left - whom these “migrants” are simply tools of - is calculating that a few deaths on the border, particularly if they occur on video, will be enough to bring down the U.S. government and turn it over to the radical enemies of America - otherwise known as the Democrat Party. That is their calculation. They believe their propaganda is ALL powerful. (And given the results of the last election, they’ve been given nothing to dissuade them of that belief).

I haven’t heard anything on rubber bullets, but I can tell you, if these people were pushing down my front door to come help themselves to my food, my money and my home, I wouldn’t use rubber bullets on them.
And NPR would be outraged to the point that they would talk ever so slightly above the level of golf commentators about how I chose to handle it.
What is the difference between a battalion and a regiment?
In modern times, the echelon that falls between Company and Brigade is the Battalion, usually commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel, and Regiments are mostly historic and ceremonial designations. Sometimes Regiment is still used in the name when another unit type would be inappropriate for one reason or another.
A battalion is typically 800 troops, and a regiment may be composed of two of those. A brigade is two or more battalions, which can be combined into a division. A division is an organization composed of around 20,000 troops.
A division is a serious incursion.

I think Jim Acosta should go toe Tijuana and explain to them what is, and is not, an “invasion”. I think he wanted to challenge POTUS on this definition. For these poor, asylum-seeking migrant families, to threaten an “invasion”, their spokespeople must be misrepresenting them, IMHO. (/S)
