Yeah - I was a bit rusty but was making the point ... it is serious.

Fireteam = 2–4
Squad/Section = 8–14
Platoon/Troop = 15–45
Company/Battery/Squadron = 80–150
Battalion /Cohort = 300–800
Regiment /Brigade /Legion = 1,000–5,500
Division = 10,000–25,000
Corps = 30,000–50,000
Field Army = 100,000–300,000
Army Group /Front = 2+ field armies (600,000+)
Region /Theater = 4+ army groups (1,200,000+)

I was thinking of an earlier comment I made about a smaller amount of invading troops.

The proverbial brown matter hits the spinning blades when the get up to the Theater level ... some where I read that the real number of invaders will approach 600,000,000 ... I think they must have meant only a mere 600,000 ...

I had to look all of the unit sizes up myself. I never could keep “regiment” in my beady little brain.
