U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has a message for President Donald Trump: “Being Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.’”
Gabbard sent the tweet to @realDonaldTrump earlier this morning, ratcheting up criticism of the president’s continued support for the country despite the CIA’s conclusion that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

“If we abandon Saudi Arabia, it would be a terrible mistake,” Trump told reporters outside of the White House Tuesday. “We’re with Saudi Arabia. We’re staying with Saudi Arabia.”
Trump said that it’s in the best interest of the U.S. not to damage ties with Saudi Arabia over the killing. In particular, he said it could send oil prices soaring.
“It’s a very simple equation for me,” he said. “I’m about making America great again and I’m about America first.”
Gabbard has been a harsh critic of Saudi Arabia’s intervention in Yemen and has urged the U.S. to end its support for the war.

I was lucky enough to have never run afoul of the UCMJ so I don't have a good understanding of how it works.But IMO this would qualify as "insubordination" which,I believe,is a violation of the UCMJ. That would mean that any superior officer in her chain of command would have the authority to refer charges against her.And that would start the court martial process.

It’s interesting. She certainly has used her military career to advance her political one. IIRC, other cases involving reservists writing letters to the editor critical of the commander in chief have led to punishment, especially when they involve the writer invoking their military status or experience.
I don’t know if congress critters have made themselves immune to this sort of thing, but they’ve exempted themselves from many of the rules and laws mere peasants can be punished for violating.
I imagine her lawyers would claim she posted in her capacity as a congress critter, and would claim her role as a politician might require her to be critical of the President’s policy. They’d say it wasn’t a direct criticism of the President.
The chances of the Pentagon under Mattis reaching down to a ANG MP unit to discipline an off duty Major who is a congresswoman in a blue, blue state are small.
The chances that somehow the Trump curse visits her are quite a bit higher, I’d guess.

Davis might actually be Zero’s bio father. Of course, thanks to the Stalinist Derp State media, we know less about Zero’s real background and backers than most folks know about Millard Fillmore or Chester Arthur.
Gabbard actually came from Republican stock. Her father, a State Senator, was a Republican who switched to the Dems because the HI GOP is deader than Biden’s brain. Whether she was one before running for office, I don’t know. Her voting record would give no indication she was anything other than a Communist. Dems only have two wings now: hardcore Marxists (Moderates) and hardcore Stalinists. The Marxists head for the wall at 95 mph, the Stalinists at 100.
Not a fan of the Saudis by any stretch, but I see Trump’s approach as more pragmatic than anything.
